Hard Shutoff is NOT Fixed

It has been almost TWO MONTHS since Madden 27 released, and this game is STILL literally unplayable on my PS5.

And when I say “unplayable,” I don’t mean frame drops. I don’t mean occasional crashes. I don’t mean some annoying little bug.

Madden 27 causes my PS5 to HARD SHUT OFF.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Yet we’re being told this issue is “fixed.”

**bleep**.

If it were fixed, my console wouldn’t completely shut itself off every time I try to play the game.

I paid $100 for Madden 27. ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. And nearly two months after release, I still cannot reliably use the product I paid for.

How is that remotely acceptable?

This isn’t some free-to-play game from a tiny studio. This is MADDEN. One of EA’s biggest annual franchises. You release essentially the same franchise every single year, charge premium prices for it, sell multiple editions, push Ultimate Team and microtransactions—and somehow a game-breaking issue that causes a PS5 to completely shut down can still exist nearly TWO MONTHS after launch?

Then you have the audacity to tell players it’s fixed when it clearly ISN’T?

I’ve dealt with bugs in Madden for years. I’ve dealt with questionable gameplay. I’ve dealt with recycled features, broken mechanics, server problems, and all the other crap Madden players have basically been conditioned to expect.

But paying $100 for a game that physically shuts my console off every time I try to play it?

That’s where I’m done.

I shouldn’t have to troubleshoot my PS5, reinstall the game, clear caches, rebuild databases, change settings, or jump through a dozen hoops just to get a $100 AAA game to FUNCTION.

My PS5 works.

My other games work.

Madden 27 is the game causing the hard shutdown.

Nearly two months.

$100.

Still unplayable.

And apparently we’re supposed to accept “it’s fixed” as an answer.

No. Fix the **bleep** game.

This is absolutely abysmal, and after this experience, Madden 27 will be the last Madden game I ever purchase.
