Madden NFL 27 H2H Crashes After Matchmaking on PS5 – CE-108255-1

I'm experiencing a repeatable crash in Madden NFL 27 H2H on PS5.

Steps to reproduce:

Launch Madden NFL 27.

Go into H2H (Head-to-Head).

Search for and successfully pair with a random online opponent.

The game transitions to the blue Madden 27 flag/loading screen.

It remains on this loading screen for approximately one minute.

Madden then completely crashes and returns me to the PS5 "Something went wrong with this game or app" screen.

PS5 error code: CE-108255-1

Platform: PlayStation 5

Mode affected: Online H2H

When it occurs: After successfully finding an opponent, during the pre-game loading screen

This isn't happening while searching for an opponent. Matchmaking appears to work normally and finds another player. The problem occurs after the opponent has been found and the game attempts to load into the actual H2H match.

I've also submitted the PS5 crash report with the screenshot/video attachment.

Because the crash is occurring at the same stage of the H2H loading process, it appears there may be an issue initializing the online match rather than simply a random application crash.

Is anyone else experiencing this on PS5, and is EA aware of an H2H crash occurring immediately after matchmaking?
