Purchased hall of fame outfit helmet not equipped in superstar nfl mode

So I bought the hall of fame outfit bundles with my deluxe edition points, and I just pressed equip gear to have them and on the dark/light team gear previews it is equipped. When I went into a game with that outfit, my helmet wasn’t showing up, instead just one of the generic team helmets. So I went back to the gear menu and equipped a different helmet and the hall of fame helmet just disappeared entirely. No way to re equip it for the in game outfits. The jets helmets don’t go with gold at all so unless it can be fixed then I just wasted my money.
