Bugs in Connected Franchise
Hi, These are all related to Connected Franchise. I play on Xbox Series S.
1. Difficulty
I play on Superstar and this is the difficulty set in my main menu. When creating a new Connected Franchise, we don't have the ability to adjust the difficulty. Once the league is created, the only place we can see the difficulty is in Controller Accessibility, it's set to Semi-Pro by default and it's greyed out, so we can't change it. On top of that, every time I enter in the Connected Franchise and exit, my main menu difficulty for offline changes to Semi-Pro, so I have to change it back to Superstar every time.
2. Free Agents Claims
When someone made a free agent claim, as the commissioner, I saw that a claim was made. However, I couldn't see any detail about the player claimed and which team it was. I did go into the Activity Feed but nothing was there about it. The only thing I could do was to approve the claim being blinded about the details, I didn't even have the ability to refuse it.
3. Player Stats
In the menu, there are some issues with the player stats showed. Sorting is wrong (order of points is not respected) and some players are missing form the list. However, when we click on the right stick to enter the stats menu, everything is fine there.
The next 2 are not really bugs, but things that would need a fix as soon as possible:
4. Human goalie in penalty shot/shootout
Right now, if a game goes to shootout, we are forced to goal. Same thing for a penalty shot, which can be really important, especially in the playoffs. Since it's a Connected Franchise and not online versus, human goaltending should never be mandatory in any situation. We should at least have the option to disable it.
5. Jersey Numbers and Captains
There is no place to adjust jersey numbers and captains in the franchise. We can do it before the beginning of a Connected Franchise and import the roster, but once we make trades or claim free agents, these players can't be changed. We are forced to use the default jersey number the game gave them, which are sometimes quite off, and it can be really annoying.
