In the moment when framerate in he game instantly drops from 60 FPS to 48 FPS during gameplay, causing heavy stuttering.
I am reporting a severe, persistent performance bug in NHL 27 running on PS5 Pro. Immediately upon launching a match, the game frame rate destabilizes and drops from targeted 60 FPS down to exactly 48 FPS as you can clearly see on clips.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE ATTACHED VIDEO
This drop causes massive frame pacing issues and stuttering that is highly jarring and visible to the human eye druing gameplay but when recorded on standard video capture tools (such as internal PS5 Pro recorder or standard 60FPS smartphone camera) standard video capture tools artificially smooth out and mask this stutter due to automatic frame duplication and camera motion blur. To prove this issue definitively , I have attached a video recorded with external camera focused on hardware FPS counter. In the video, you can see the frame rate immediately plummeting and locking to 48 FPS during active gameplay.
This issue persists regardless of whether VRR is ON or OFF on PS5 Pro and Monitor
the problem occurs instantly at the start of a match, ruling out hardware overheating or gradual memory leaks
this is an internal game optimization/rendering bug with the Frostbite engine on the new PS5 Pro hardware
Please escalate this technical data and the video to the development team so they can look into the PS5 Pro graphical profiles and release a performance patch
Thank you
