In case anyone is reading this:

we found a way out and it’s complicated.

You essentially need to locate the frozen player. I was able to find myself by using the throwdown menu spot. 

Another player in your server then has to build out to you and put something that touches your feet. You’ll need someone with long items to drop. Once it touches your feet, the game recognizes where you are and can teleport
