Unable to place quick drop/object

I am having the same issue. Stuck on the mission where quick dropping items is the task...

I hope they fix it, and I hope they see my post.

I did wonder why I could never see anyone skating in the final area of the map, must be a universal bug

Same for me. I've got as far as 2/3 but no idea how and couldn't reproduce it.

i am also having this problem now. i cannot continue the main missions now.

Same here. Left it a few days and just never shows the objects I choose to place. There's heaps of ghosted dropped objects in the zone before I get to place my ramp etc too. Can't do any more of the missions. 

Same! I can place objects outside the mission, but then it seems to bug out once I go into that mission...

Same here. I’m trying to finish a mission in the third area, but when I select an object it either invisible or just not there. I reset all the object I placed and deactivate the community object too, but it didn’t work. 

Going through the same thing. Quick-Drop required for the challenge but objects not appearing. Tried just quitting the challenge and immediately going back into it and nothing. 

i placed a spawn point at the mission i was stuck on placed the object even tho i couldnt see it the walked away and teleported back and they were working fine again

Hi guys! Had the same issue, i hit the place objects settings and set the visibility of the objects only to myself and the editing to nobody (at the bottom “multiplayer”), then tried to place an object and it worked ! Cheers 

Anyone coming here from a Google search should follow this person advice. Hopefully they fix this bug, but for now this solution works. Thanks mate!

This should have been fixed by now, what a joke, it's a game breaking bug if you can't progress, get your sh*t together. It wasn't like this when I started in the playtest and now that early access has started for playtesters, all of a sudden doesn't work properly? and no fix for over a week, does that mean we have to wait till season 1 ? Can't play the game because of this bs, just want to get through the main missions, whilst friends are waiting for early access.

I am unable to drop anything and now stuck on a mission that requires it. Please fix ASAP. 

Unfortunately, even if this IS a priority issue... I can't see any patches being made until at least the 16th, when they open early access to the public... 

I REALLY hope they don't make everyone wait until Season 1 in October to start fixing bugs again... 

Edit: Yeah, the latest update notes state a bunch of fixes planned for ver. 27.7 on the 16th, but this isn't one of them... So, maybe it's not such a priority, after all... 

In my case I can place objects and see them but then i am supposed to interact with one of them by pressing the left stick but I can’t

So it's only in that mission area for me, if I go anywhere else I can drop stuff no problem. What worked for me is, quit the mission walk a little down the street from it so the edge of the area you can drop stuff is like right by the ledge and and was able to put a kicker up top in front of the ledge instead of trying to put like a quarter pipe after the drop. Just went and started the mission thing and it was still there, just had to all the challenges for it by launching off the kicker down the gap.

I managed to get it working by leaving the mission, placing objects in the area, restarting the mission then copying and pasting the items 

Another possible fix is to hold the Customize button once you have your object selected and cycle between variants. This worked for me, cheers!
