Follow My Progress in Make a Sims 4 Save File
I have already created a Sims 4 Save File and am now fine tuning it by adding in lore, likes, dislikes, relationships, turn ons, turn offs, careers, clubs and more. Plus I will be sharing tips and tricks that I have found while making the save file.46Views2likes15CommentsBuild-n-Share #185 **Let's Play!** Due 31st October, 2024
Welcome to BNS 185: Let's Play (Note: This is the long-delayed follow-up to BNS 180: Let it Snow, which introduced the elves and their quest to learn to build better doll houses and superhero lairs). You stretch out on your couch after a long weekend in the North Pole. You have really enjoyed your time teaching the elves about different types of architectural designs, but it has been a bit exhausting as well. You just wrapped up the teaching part of the job, and you’re pleased with the progress the elves have made. You have given them their "exam" requirements to build either a dollhouse or action figure/super hero lair using the techniques you have taught them. Now you have a whole month to relax before you have to go back to help "judge" their projects and offer final suggestions to the elves. The Brief: -the budget is $250,000 (this includes the lot cost). -the doll house or lair must have an "open" side, just like a real toy. -keep in mind that a "child" must be able to reach in and play in every room or space you create. -it should be at least two stories high with a staircase or ladder as well as a bathroom. -it should have at least 6 different rooms/spaces to play in. -don't forget to landscape. The Sim Challenge: -create a family or group of superheroes/action figures with at least 4 sims. -you can pick all traits, likes, dislikes, and other details. -show them enjoying the house or lair. The Room Challenge: -create a bathroom. -budget is $10,000. Remember to include the hashtag #bns185 with your build or it will not be judged! I realize that not many people play the Sims 3 rotationally. At least, not many people document that type of gameplay online the way they do for the Sims 2, but I'm planning quite a big undertaking in my own personal game. I have added several families (including plans for new businesses / community lots) to Sunset Valley and plan to play them all in rotation Sims 2 style using NRAAS and other mods. However, I need room for the extra families and the expansion of descendants over time, and unfortunately there's no option to add more space via subhoods like there is in Sims 2. All that to say, does anyone have ideas / techniques (probably using create a world to modify the map I guess?) to expand Sunset Valley with more residential lots in a way that feels organic and keeps most of the premade houses intact? P.S. ~ I know it might sound like if I like Sims 2 style rotational play then I would be better off playing that game, but I love so many things about the Sims 3 like the traits, customization, and open world detail, so I feel like I could better tell my sims' stories the way I want in that game, even if it takes some tweaking to get it working the way I need it to.33Views2likes2CommentsBlueprint Builds

Please do not post any comments on this thread Welcome to The Sims 4 Build-n-Share Challenge Archives. Hopefully you have heard about the weekly Build-n-Share challenge for builders. If not, we hope you will visit our Official Thread at the Creative Corner board http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/769875/sims-4-buildnshare-challenge, where you can find the current challenge. Take a look at the past challenges and if you are bored, you can always use them as an inspiration, and/or to find some buildings you would like to download to your game. Every fortnight week, we offer a specific building request for builders of all levels to tackle in their own unique way. We offer different levels of experience, and those who enter receive (at the very least because it's usually many more) one rec and a download for your work. At the end of the challenge, winners are posted within a week and every entrant receives feedback on his or her work at the winner's circle thread: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/279926.page In the posts below, you will find all the information and links related to each challenge. We hope you enjoy it, and if you would like to make any comments, please do so, but in our Official Thread at the Creative Corner board http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/769875/sims-4-buildnshare-challenge, as we need this thread chat- free for the whole purpose of an Archive. Thank you so much and we hope to see you in our challenges. Sincerely, The Build-n-Share Team16KViews1like224CommentsS4 BuildnShare Winners Circle

Well, I though it would be a good idea if I'm going to start this thread about sharing our latest WIPs. This will help for other Simmers to show how they are impressed with our ongoing projects. I'm making a list of WIPs in my second post (similar to @rosemow) so it will be easy for other Simmers to navigate our recent WIPs. You can share your latest projects (whether it's a lot, a room, or a sim) that you're working on. If you're going to pause it or if you're done with your project, please let me know so I can edit my list. You can also share yourunfinished/scrapped projects too! In that case, we can show how much we care with these. Thank you and happy Simming and building! :D Side Note: If you're done with your WIP/s but don't have a showcase thread, you can share them in Share Your Newest The Sims 4 Creations Here! thread, created by @BreeMiles. :) http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/793222/share-your-newest-the-sims-4-creations-here/p161KViews1like3647CommentsCoastal Roads - My New Sims 3 World!
The second beta is out. I announced the first one over on my Tumblr. I also made a separate post talking about the pride flag crosswalks I created for the world. This screenshot is of the first version of the world, but for the most part, its very similar to how it looks now. It is missing the lots that CJplays will create, that assuming nothing goes wrong will be included in the final version of the map The map requires every single expansion pack and stuff pack with the exception of Katy Perry Sweet Treats as that is is the only pack I do not own. In addition it uses the following free store objects No Tricks, Just Treats More Halloween Treats More Holiday Presents Weba Yayfoo Modern HDTV by Webbsta Industries Honeycomb Bookshelf ( I'm having trouble finding this one in the store for some reason. Hope its still available ) Let there be Sims! You can download the second version along with the first official saved game file for the world. When the final version is released, the map and the saved game file will be a separate download, but for now you will have to download them together. Please make sure you playtest the map using the saved game file. The current version of Coastal Roads will have to be installed for it to work. Make sure you delete the previous version if you had it installed on your computer I am also creating some extra lots that you will be able to download separately when the final version of the map is released, that use some premium store content. Now that that's over with, here are some additional, more up to date screenshots of what the world currently looks like. Most of the sims in the pictures below are ones that I created, but a few of them are NPC townies. You will need to load the saved game file, in order to encounter them. There will not be any graveyard ghosts in the saved game file, until the final version of the map. So what do you guys think so far? Please let me know if there is anything you like or dislike about the world and if there is anything that could be improved upon. Also, please let me know what you think of my sims148Views5likes7Comments
