Getting disconnected mid game
Hi guys As the title suggests I keep getting thrown out of my games. This will happen at any given moment or time. It appears as I lose connection and lag out. Which seems weird to me because usually if I experience lag, I also lag in discord. But this isn’t the case. After lagging out the game wont let me reconnect due to a connection error. If I want to reconnect I need to quit my game via steam and reboot it. Which obviously is quite annoying. All drivers are up to date & steam files are verified. When I have task manager running nothing shows up as problematic. Hopefully someone can help! Thanks. PC SPECS: AMD ryzen 7 5800x GPU geforce rtx 4070 RAM DDR 4 - 3600 32 GB SSD 1 TB samsung 980 pro
Bug - Octane Spotlight Pass
Hi, Let me start by saying, i'm absolutely not against this bug because it gave me 3 levels for free. But at the same time I have been working in software development for 15+ years, so a bug needs to be reported. One of the challenges for Octane consists of three tiers for dealing Damage: Deal 5.000 damage as Octane (+10) (-OR- deal 2.000 damage as Octane in BR) Deal 10.000 damage as Octane (+10) (-OR- deal 5.000 damage as Octane in BR) Deal 20.000 damage as Octane (+20) (-OR- deal 10.000 damage as Octane in BR) Prior to my game, which was Mixtape; Control; Storm Point; for possible repro reasons I was on the team that starts at site A, I had dealt 9.700 damage. Meaning I was 300 damage away from completing challenge T2. In the Control game I dealt approx. 2.300 damage, so I would have completed T2 and would be starting T3. (Additional info for devs; I also completed 2 event challenges and 1 daily challenge) When I proceeded to the lobby after the game I received multiple levels from the spotlight pass. Which seemed odd to me, since I only cleared a single spotlight challenge which would give me +10. After checking the potential cause for this (appreciated) free gift, I realized that once I finished the 10.000 damage (T2) it also said I completed 20.000 damage (T3). Which also explained the 3 levels I cleared, since that would be a sum of +10 (T2) & +20(T3). TL;DR: Play mixtape for damage with Octane, finish T2 & receive T3 for free.
