EA, we need to talk about Cristiano in FC 27: Is an 84 rating a bad joke?
Hi everyone, I am opening this thread because I find the overall rating EA Sports has given Cristiano Ronaldo in FC 27 completely incomprehensible, leaving him at an unbelievable 84 OVR. This makes absolutely no sense from a logical or sporting perspective if we analyze his actual performance: 1. Unstoppable goal-scoring form: At his age, Cristiano continues to post incredible individual numbers with Al-Nassr. Since when do we punish a striker who remains one of the top goalscorers in world football this year? 2. Double standards: While Lionel Messi gets a 3-point boost (from 86 to 89) for his role in the World Cup and MLS, Cristiano gets downgraded for playing in the Saudi league and not going as far in the tournament. Individual performance and killer instinct in the box don't just disappear based on geography. 3. The weight of pace in the algorithm: We understand that pace drops with age, but tanking his overall rating to 84 just because of speed completely ruins the card of an active legend. His shooting, positioning, and physical stats should easily keep his overall at an 85 or 86 minimum. The community is deeply unhappy with this treatment. EA should reconsider their squad update criteria before the official launch or adjust the key attributes of his base card. What do you all think? So playing online in UT or seasons ball goes out I pause it to go into team management and it doesn't load just keeps putting me back to the pause menu and then time runs out is this a bug or can I be fixed as it happened all of last year during rivals and champs because it happens some games and then not in othersUnable to play Rivals or Champions since 10th August 2026
I connect with an opponent but as soon as the game is about to start, the game sends me back to the menu saying lost connection with the opponent we’ll check the results. Been the same since last 5 days. Missed both the rewards because of this.Add Men-Only and Mixed-Gender Matchmaking to Ultimate Team
I would like to make a strong request regarding the inclusion and balance of female players in Ultimate Team. I am not asking EA to remove female players from the game. Players who enjoy using female players should absolutely be free to continue doing so. My concern is that there is currently no option for players who want to experience realistic men’s football in Ultimate Team. In real-world professional football, men’s and women’s football are separate categories. They have different physical characteristics and competitive environments, and both exist as their own forms of the sport. However, in Ultimate Team, these two categories are placed into the same competitive environment. As a result, relatively unknown and physically smaller female players can sometimes outperform and outrun elite male footballers. When this happens repeatedly, it seriously damages the realism and immersion of the football experience. If I lose to a world-class player such as Mbappé or Haaland, I can accept that as part of football. They are elite players with exceptional abilities. However, when a relatively unknown player with a very different real-world physical profile can consistently outrun, overpower and outperform some of the best male players in the world because of their in-game attributes and animations, it no longer feels like the football I came to play. This is not about disliking women’s football or female players. It is about giving players the freedom to choose how they want to experience Ultimate Team. My strongest suggestion is therefore very simple: Please add matchmaking options: Men-Only Mixed-Gender Players who enjoy mixed-gender Ultimate Team could continue playing exactly as they do now. At the same time, players who want to build men’s squads and compete exclusively against men’s squads should also have that option. This would not take anything away from either group. I also want to make it clear that I am not trying to attack EA SPORTS FC as a game. Quite the opposite. Ultimate Team is a fantastic concept: collecting players you love, building your own squad, and competing against players from around the world is one of the things that makes FC so enjoyable. That is exactly why I want to enjoy it even more. I want to play Ultimate Team with my favourite players and experience football in a way that feels authentic to me. Players who enjoy using female players should have that freedom. Players who enjoy mixed-gender squads should have that freedom. And players like me, who want to experience realistic men’s football in Ultimate Team, should have that freedom too. Female players do not need to be removed. Mixed-gender football does not need to be removed. Please simply give players the choice. I believe this would allow different types of players to enjoy Ultimate Team in the way they prefer, without taking anything away from anyone else. I love this game. I simply want the freedom to enjoy it my way.
FC 26 Live Events – Severe Lag, Stuttering & FPS Drops
I’m currently not experiencing any lag, input delay, FPS drops, or stuttering while playing Rivals or Champions. However, when I play Live Events, the experience is completely different. Live Events have frequent frame drops, sudden stutters, severe delay, and moments where the game almost freezes and then suddenly catches up. This makes the matches extremely difficult to play, especially because Live Events are currently required to earn certain rewards. I’ve already lost multiple games and wasted a significant amount of time because of these issues. What’s frustrating is that my system and connection clearly work fine in Rivals and Champions, which makes the problem seem specific to Live Events rather than my setup. Please investigate and fix the performance/network issues affecting Live Events. If Rivals and Champions can run smoothly, Live Events should be able to do the same. We want to enjoy the game and grind for our rewards without having matches decided by random stuttering and FPS drops. Please fix Live Events, EA. Thank you.
FC 27 Career Mode Suggestions: Leagues, Youth, Transfers & Gameplay
1. Addition of Women's Lower Leagues (Promotion & Relegation) To make Manager Career Mode truly immersive for women's football, we need multi-tier league structures with promotion and relegation. Suggested Leagues: Barclays Women's Championship (England - 2nd Tier) Primera Federación Fútbol Femenino (Spain - 2nd Tier) Why it matters: Playing in the WSL or Liga F currently lacks stakes without promotion/relegation. Adding 2nd divisions provides long-term depth, creates a realistic ecosystem for loaning out young female players, and adds licensed teams, badges, and authentic kits to Ultimate Team and Clubs. 2. Youth Academy & Squad Management Enhancements Promoting young talent currently carries too much risk if a player isn't fully ready for senior football. Demote to Youth / Reserve (U21) Team: Allow managers to send promoted youth players back to the Youth Academy or a playable/simulated U21 Reserve Squad. Why it matters: If loan deals fall through or a player isn't ready for first-team action, their development currently stalls on the bench. A flexible squad management system adds much-needed realism and safeguards player growth. 3. Dynamic Transfer Market Mechanics The current transfer market feels too passive. Modern football transfers require proactive negotiations, agent interactions, and creative deal-making. Active Player Offering: Give managers the ability to actively propose players to specific clubs via agents rather than waiting passively on the transfer list. Agent Pitches & Proactive Proposals: AI clubs and agents should pitch players directly to us (e.g., an agent offering an out-of-favor player or a player seeking a new challenge). Swap List" Option: A dedicated squad hub option to mark players available specifically for trade (e.g., swapping an unwanted striker for a needed defender). AI-Initiated Player Swaps: AI clubs should actively initiate transfer offers including player-plus-cash deals for our players. 4. Mixed-Gender Toggle for Offline Career Mode Ultimate Team has proven that mixed-gender gameplay animations work seamlessly together, and offline modes should offer that same flexibility. Optional On/Off Toggle: Give players an optional setting when creating a new Career Mode to enable or disable mixed-gender leagues, transfers, and youth academies. Why it matters: It respects player freedom—purists can keep it turned off for traditional realism, while players seeking a creative, sandbox experience can enjoy full access to the entire player database.
