[HSY] No vendor for thrift tea counter appears
I removed all mods and custom content, started a new save file, moved my household into copperdale, and visited the bubble tea store. When at the store, vendor does not spawn. When trying to interact with bubble tea counter, it has become unselectable/interactable. Therefore, can't use tend, hire vendor, or any other interactions. The object no longer allows interactions and cannot be selected, unlike prior to new DLC launch. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
[FR] Every tenant event successfully resolved is instead treated as a failure
I’ve done 4 landlord events and 3 of them have said I’ve failed to do anything and my unit rating has lowered even though I’ve done them. I’ve had one say I did it. My unit was 5 stars and now is back down to 4. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
Aspirations Default to First One When Looking or Switching
Since the January 14 game update, when I pull up the aspiration menu, either to check what's on the next tier of the current aspiration or to swap aspirations, the aspiration panel defaults to the very first one (Animal if you have Cats and Dogs, otherwise the Athletic category. Note if I try in a save* that's never been played with base game (and the Jan 16 kits) it stays on the current aspiration.(*it was a base game only save I'd created before the update to test something previously but had never saved apart from the default save when it's set up). It also works fine if I enable all packs except Home Chef Hustle (I disabled packs using James Turner's site). However, when I disabled all packs (except the kits released Jan 16), and try in a save I'd played in previously, when you pull up the aspiration menu it also defaults to the first aspiration (in this case the athletic one). I attach two screenshots. The first one is where the aspiration defaults to after the update. The second one is where it should default to (the same aspiration that the sim is on, in both examples, it is the cooking aspiration as I tested with the same sim both with and without packs disabled). Note that I play on Windows, game version is PC: 1.112.481.1030 DX 11 & in English, my mods folder is out, cache has been deleted and I repaired my game after the update (and after installing the new kits). I do have all the packs, but as indicated, tested both with all the packs, with all (but the latest kits) disabled, and gradually adding packs back in. Problem The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots or Error Codes 800/801. The problem usually starts in Willow Creek and then goes on to other lots. There are several symptoms of this issue as outlined in these AHQ threads Default Lots Showing in Surrounding World [NEEDS SAVES] Houses/Lots disappear/Error 800 or 801 [NEEDS SAVES] Orange/Green Exclamation signs over lots / Houses disappear [FR] Corrupted lot/Houses disappear Map doesn't update changes to lots/ Can't change lot type Lots randomly revert back to defaults Llama pictures on lots (possibly also incomplete installation - repair your game first) Troubleshooting The issue is really hard to pinpoint but there are a few things that can accelerated the issue. This issue is not mod caused but it can be influenced by mods and cheats, especially if you create lots of Residential Rental units in your save game. Save Game Size. The issue usually typically happens on save games > 200 MB. There are a few factors that contribute to save game size that you can keep an eye on Lots of huge houses with lots of objects: Try to keep those down. Consider using empty houses for set decoration if you don't play certain lots but want houses to make it look nicer Photos Sims take ingame. Try to only keep the photos you really like and that contribute to your gameplay. Delete everything else. Photos take up a lot of space in the save. Lots of Sims. The game creates Sims at abundance. Delete the ones you don't use from time to time. Usually there's nothing you can do once it starts happening.
Discovery Quests won't go away/Constant Messages popping up
Ever since reaper rewards ended my game is contiously 'starting' the navigating needs and scoring simoleons discovery quests. I've tried completely the quests but that didn't work, they just kept restarting. Have also tried turning the quests and tutorials off/restarting/repairing the game but that isn't working either. And when I say keep starting I mean it's popping up multiple times a minute even when it's still 'active' My sims just gained over 15 thousand simoleons from the scoring simoleons quest just spam starting. Like....It keeps telling me my notification wall is full less than a minute after i delete all because these quests will not stop spamming me. I have no mods or ccs in my game.
