The Title Update #17 will soon be available for all versions of EA SPORTS FC 25, and it will include: Gameplay Made the following change: Failed tackles can now take longer to transition out of, with hard tackles being the most impacted. The intent of this change is to reduce situations where failed tackles instantaneously lead to another tackle attempt. Hey everyone, the Season Finale Update (Title Update #15) is now available on all platforms for EA SPORTS FC 25. With this update we’re making three adjustments to game balance based on your feedback, and some updates to Ultimate Team and Career Mode. Here’s what you can expect: Moderately increased accuracy of Ground Passes for players with high Passing related Attributes. Significantly reduced effectiveness of goalkeepers rushing out with the Rush Out PlayStyle, and slightly reduced that effectiveness for Rush Out PlayStyle+ players. Slightly increased accuracy of contested and uncontested headers. A new season and Premium Pass in Ultimate Team. Increased the maximum number of PlayStyles+ UT Player Items can have up to five. Updated Player Career ICON selection. Refreshed Career Mode UI for Fixtures and Results. Refreshed the main menu with a festive celebration theme. One of our main goals with this update is to provide fair and fun gameplay outcomes based on your feedback, but without drastically changing how the game is being played. Let’s dig into it some more. Gameplay Updates Improving Ground Passes For Skilled Passers In the Season Finale Update, we’ve made the following passing change based on your feedback: Moderately increased Ground Pass accuracy for players with high Passing related Attributes. This change does not impact Driven Ground Passes. With this change we’re looking to reduce the gap between players who can be excellent passers thanks to their high Passing related Attributes, and players who have passing related PlayStyles. We want both types of players to be able to perform great passes. Here’s how a Ground Pass could have looked before this update, with a high Passing Attribute player. Now let’s take a look at how this pass can play out after the update. Note the increase in accuracy. Of course, passing is still impacted by everything you’d expect including clean inputs and defensive pressure on the passer. We want passing to feel authentic in FC 25, and we want players who pass the ball well in real life to pass it well in our game too. Reduced GK Rush Out PlayStyle Effectiveness We’ve tweaked goalkeepers in the Season Finale Update based on your feedback: Slightly reduced the rate of acceleration for goalkeepers with the Rush Out PlayStyle+. Significantly reduced the rate of acceleration for goalkeepers with the Rush Out PlayStyle. We’ve seen and heard from you that the keepers with the Rush Out PlayStyle+ were overly effective at closing down attackers. Here’s how that could have looked before this update. Now, here’s how that situation can play out. Note that the goalkeeper isn’t closing down the space as quickly as before. Naturally we don’t want to take away the ability of goalkeepers to rush incoming attackers, but with this change our goal is to create more balanced one on one situations and encourage a wider variety of defensive strategies. Improving Header Accuracy We’ve seen your feedback about wanting headers to be a more viable attacking option, so we made the following change: Slightly increased accuracy of headers performed by the shooting input. While nobody wants every single header to be a goal, we’ve seen the need for increasing the effectiveness of headers in FC 25. Here’s how a header could have looked before the Season Finale Update. Now let’s take a look at a more accurate header that you can perform after this update. Football Ultimate Team Updates Season 8 And A New Premium Pass It’s almost time for Season 8 in FUT, and it’ll be kicking off on Thursday, June 5th. The new season also brings a brand new Premium Pass to FC 25, and we’ve listed everything you can expect from it below. We have updated our Playstyle+ Evolution Consumables requirements for Season 8! In the Standard Ladder, the requirements for the Playstyle+ Evolutions will be: Max 95 OVR, Max 9 Playstyles, Max 3 Playstyle+. In the Premium Pass, the requirements for the Playstyle+ Evolutions will be: Max 96 OVR, Max 9 Playstyles, Max 3 Playstyle+. Increased Maximum Amount Of PlayStyle+ Assignments With the Season Finale Update, Player Items can now have up to five PlayStyle+ in Ultimate Team. We’re making this update so we can provide you with a larger variety of Player Items going forward. You may notice that you can now gain up to a maximum of five new PlayStyle+ as rewards through Evolutions, or certain Player Items show more PlayStyle+ UI indicators. Of course this doesn’t mean that every Player Item with multiple PlayStyles+ will have five of them, it just means that five is the new max. Career Mode, Main Menu, And More As part of the Season Finale Update, we’re adding the final set of Live Start Points for FC 25, plus you can now play as the following ICONs in Player Career: Birgit Prinz George Best Johan Cruyff Garrincha In Manager Career, you will now be able to play 5v5 Youth Tournament Matches in co-op, up to four players, via the addition of the Side Select functionality. We’ve also tweaked how match results around your club are covered in your Career Mode social media feeds, with a new and improved logic allowing you to see a refreshed Fixtures & Results UI, like the one below. Increased how long Team Press can be active for from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. Significantly increased how quickly Stamina is depleted when using Team Press. Hey everyone, as part of Season 7 in EA SPORTS FC 25 we’re adding a new tier to the Season Pass to give you more options when choosing what content you want to pursue across multiple modes. This new premium tier is an additional ladder to the standard seasonal ladder available through FC Points and Football Ultimate Team Coins, and will include new tradable rewards, Player Items, Evolutions and more. We know this comes with a lot of questions, so we’ve teamed up with our Live Content Development team to share all the details here. Start Date The Premium Pass will be available using FC Points or UT Coins in FC 25 at the start of season 7. April 24 - 7am UTC Modes The Premium Pass will be available in Football Ultimate Team, Clubs and Manager/Player Career. We’ll get into specific rewards for this upcoming season below, and we'll be watching your feedback to ensure that we can continue delivering meaningful rewards wherever possible. Acquisition The Premium Pass will be available using FC Points or UT Coins. In Season 7, the Premium Pass will be available for: 1,000 FC Points 500,000 UT Coins Rewards We want to make sure you have full visibility into what the Premium Pass will get you. Here’s a quick overview on some of the new rewards we’ll be introducing as part of the Premium Pass. Tradeable Packs For the first time, we’re including Tradeable Packs as part of Seasonal Rewards through the Premium Pass. SP (Season Points) Boosters Receive 10,000 SP at level 20 of the Premium Pass, unlocking up to 10 levels of the Premium and Standard Pass Seasonal ladder. Player Items TOTS Flashbacks. TOTS Honourable Mentions (based on 2024/25 performances). Evolution Consumables Earn Evolution Consumables that provide Role++ and Playstyle+ improvements In the Standard Ladder, the requirements for the Playstyle+ Evolutions will be: Max 94 OVR, Max 8 Playstyles, Max 3 Playstyle+. In the Premium Pass, the requirements for the Playstyle+ Evolutions will be: Max 95 OVR, Max 8 Playstyles, Max 3 Playstyle+. Retro Cosmetic Evolutions Similar to the Cosmetic Evolutions introduced during FUT Birthday, we’ll be introducing more retro shell designs from Football Ultimate Team history and this time they’ll be TOTS themed. Now, let’s show you exactly what this will look like in Season 7. Below are the exact rewards available at every tier in the Premium Pass. FAQs What happens if I purchase the Premium Pass after I’ve made progress in the standard ladder? No matter when during Season 7 or at what level you decide to get the Premium Pass, you will retroactively earn all the Premium Pass rewards from the levels that you’ve completed. Will I still receive the 10,000 SP boost if I get the Premium Pass after I’ve made progress in the standard ladder? Yes, the 10,000 SP boost and all other Premium Pass rewards earned up to your current SP progression point will be made available once you obtain the Premium Pass. If you have less than 10 levels remaining on the ladder, the boost here will take you to the final level. For example, if you’ve reached the second to last level, the boost would only increase you by one more level. How do I redeem my SP? You will be able to redeem your 10,000 SP by claiming the reward on either the FC Season menu in the Ultimate Team game mode or via the FC Hub on the Main Menu. Can I save my SP Boost for next season? The 10,000 SP boost earned via the Premium Pass will only apply to the current season and does not carry over to a new season. Other rewards earned via the Premium Pass can be saved to be claimed later. What happens if I redeem my SP in Clubs or Career? Players can only redeem SP through the FC Hub or FC Season tab in the Ultimate Team game mode. When claimed through either source, the SP will automatically increase your earned SP by up to 10,000 (to a maximum of 40,000 / Level 40). Are we changing standard Seasonal Rewards with the introduction of a Premium Pass? No, the rewards in the standard Season Pass will continue to scale throughout FC 25 as if there was no Premium Pass. The Premium Pass is purely additive and we will not be shifting rewards from the standard tier of the Season Pass to the Premium Pass. Are any rewards in the Premium Pass exclusive? Yes, currently there are exclusive Players, Cosmetics, and Playstyle+ EVO Consumable items in the Season 7 Premium Pass. How can I earn Premium Pass rewards? Players can earn SP to unlock Season Pass and Premium Pass rewards in Career Mode, Clubs, and Ultimate Team.
