Lost among the misty outskirts of the Outer Rim, the Crimson Fortress was one of the Sith Order's most guarded secrets. Built thousands of years ago, it hid on the ice planet of Valtarion, hidden from the prying eyes of both Jedi and Imperial adventurers. The fortress rose above the ice-bound canyons, its blade-sharp turrets drowning in a blood-red glow, as if the planet itself pulsed with the ominous energy of the Dark Side. No one who once entered the Crimson Fortress uninvited came back to tell what they saw. “A Sith base... somewhere in this blizzard.” Jedi Master Oris Vayde readjusted his cloak, wrapping himself in it against the inhuman cold. The snowstorm around him seemed to whisper, as if the Force itself was warning him of impending danger. At his side walked Keev Ral, his former student, now a full-fledged Jedi Knight. “I don't like this, master.” - Keev squeezed the hilt of his lightsaber. “If this is indeed a Sith stronghold, then we shouldn't go there alone.” “We had no choice,” Vayde replied, looking ahead. “The Grand Council does not believe in the existence of this base. We have to check it out with our own eyes.” They spotted the fortress in the distance - black, monumental, pulsing with a red glow. Suddenly the air around them trembled. The ground shook, and before them, like a phantom emerging from the very air, a slender, hooded figure appeared. “You have come to a place where there is no light,” said the voice, as cool as the blade of a vibro blade. The man threw back his hood, revealing a face with pale features and piercing golden-red eyes. “I am Darth Mael, master of the Crimson Fortress.” Before the Jedi had time to react, the Sith raised his hand. The air around them thickened, as if the Force itself objected to their presence. Suddenly, Vayde was thrown backwards, hitting his back against the ice wall. Keev reacted instinctively - his blue blade flared, cutting through the snowy air. Mael only smiled. “The darkness has welcomed you with open arms, Jedi. Now we will see if you are ready for real pain.” More figures began to emerge from inside the fortress. Hooded warriors, each with a red blade in their hand. This was not an abandoned base. This was a Sith bastion, hidden from the world for centuries. Its brave golden-red-eyed inhabitants clashed in battle, not giving way for a moment to the warriors of the Republic. The fate of the Jedi, however, seemed to be already sealed. Darth Mael watched the duel from hiding. His golden eyes followed the Jedi's movements intently, and he analyzed each blow and dodge with almost scientific precision. He was impressed by their skill - both Vayde and Keev fought with determination and grace worthy of masters. However, he was not here to kill them. On the contrary. He had a proposition for them. Deep in his heart, he knew that only a few could get the honor of knowing true power. And these two... could be worthy of it. He wanted them to join him in the Crimson Fortress, to cross boundaries that the Jedi were afraid to even touch. These two Jedi knights already serve the Dark Side of the Force.
