To the EA Sports FC Development Team, I am have been playing for ~30 years of fifa and I am officially done with the constant, unannounced "Stealth Updates" that fundamentally break this game every 48 hours it seems. The "Mud" and Movement: Every time I turn on the console, there is a new meta. The "Mud" is back with a vengeance. Professional footballers are not freight ships; they have explosive quickness. Stop forcing "Inertia" that makes the game feel like a chore. Defensive Paralysis: My defenders literally stand still during transitions. They don't track back, they don't close the 15-yard gap, and they have no spatial awareness. After 30 years of development, how is the defensive AI worse than it was in FIFA 13? The Skill Gap is Dead: You have created a game that rewards parking the bus and anti-football. By making movement this sluggish, you have inversed the skill gap, making it impossible to break down campers because the players can't turn on the ball or move with any explosiveness. Passing and shooting takes a month for the player to wind up sometimes. This is one of, if not the worst iteration of the franchise I have ever seen. It is not fun; it is a frustrating, broken mess. Fix the "Spaghetti Code" and see that the "Authentic" experiment has failed. Move on to a more physics based approach - less top/down scripting. Other issues - The "Pace Cap" and Recovery Speed Bug: You have made it functionally impossible to beat a defender 1v1 on the ball. World-class sprinters like Mbappé and Vini Jr. can no longer outrun or even maintain a gap against lower-paced defenders. You have baked in a hidden speed penalty for the ball-carrier that is so aggressive it negates the point of having high-pace players. This isn't "simulation"—it's an artificial handicap that kills the excitement of the sport. The "Ghost Win" Pandemic: In the last week alone, I have had 5 rage-quit wins fail to register. If an opponent quits while I am winning, the server must anchor that win. To have my time wasted and my progress deleted by your "Match Under Review" loop is the definition of technical bankruptcy. I have reached the point where I am no longer playing for fun, but out of habit, and that habit is breaking. I am eagerly awaiting the launch of the FIFA 2K soccer simulation. As a long-time player of NBA 2K and PGA 2K, I know what a game feels like when it actually rewards user inputs. The defending AI on this game is shockingly stupid low IQ. Kids in Europe learn how offside work and to push up at like 8-9. But you cant even program it into a game. Corners Promise: Adjusted positioning to reduce counterattacks Reality: Players remain massively out of position One clearance often leads to a 3v2 or 4v2 counter Result: Corner recovery logic still broken. CB track runners and open up space instead of keeping line pushing up. And when they do need to track runners to protect a cross from wing. They dont... Its just so low IQ its shocking that this is ur best... Im not going into attacking, cause that i can understand is complex. But if you change every player role, and the other settings like formation, build up style and defensive approach your tactical preset doesn't switch to custom. WHY? Especially because in career, changing tactical preset has an negative effect, players have a bronze to gold rating of what they are used to play. But if you can actually keep the current preset, while you can change everything else, what's the point? Does the tactical preset have hidden settings or is just a sham? And if it does have hidden settings, what is the custom preset have for those?? Even one of the cheat/bot even predicted he would get 7 goals hence his game name was 7nil. You can see I have 10ms ping. It’s because our Australia servers get put everywhere around the world and I suffer. im so done with this crap. You can see the money spent but this game isn’t about skill. I live in Brockton Massachusetts. Since 2021 I have been playing this game, I've had rhe same problem from Fifa 21, Fifa 22, Fifa 23, FC 24, FC 25 and FC 26. The response is absurb and it's gotten progressively worse. Responses are not instantaneous and take an extra 2-5 seconds, players run slow and extremely sluggish so even an opponent's Olivier Giroud can catch up to my Mbappe. Turning or changing direction is extremely hard, I literally have to beg players to pls turn and then they consider it if they feel like. It's hard to dribble or mark accurately cos of this. Players run like they are running on mud and turn slowly. Cursor also change very slowly and sometimes even a player close to the ball that should be marking doesn't get rhe cursor until after 2s even it's clear he should have the cursor. It's not my TV, as I even bought a game efficient TV, it's not my network as I have invested in the best networks, even fibres. My lots of little researches show rhat it's a server thing or it's From EA. Can you guys please help me resolve this issue somehow? This is the only game I play and it's frustrating me. Some days are slightly better but the "Normal" condition of this game is extremely bad. Ping is good here as well and controllers are good. Im not the best but I know for a fact half the things that go on in my game aren't normal. My passing never works properly and even worse after the new update. I think in the past 3 weeks all my players have done every game is pass directly to the opponent not like swerving off from my player to theirs and they run into it, I mean I could pass to somebody so visibly open and the trajectory is to the opponent without fail unless they're well off that's the only way I can really pass ive put a hud on that shows my inputs and when im looking back at a replay my aim was perfect and it just goes off into their players as I said. But its not even that its everything, if I use the right stick for skills they just kick the ball away, if I run they get it, if I take my time they get it, when I hold L2 they either just tackle straight through it or my player will just stand there totally oblivious even when moving around while holding it they eventually just let go of it. The most frustrating bit is the fact every single team I face even bronze and silver teams can all get straight past even when I run up before or I try to block their path off while slowly repeatedly pressing R1 they just spin around in circles and get past but then like I said when I make a clear run or I take my time but none work its like walking through straight walls that just follow your path until you hit it and even if I get past and get into the box there's about 5 people already there blocking every passing option and even when I do get a pass in luckily there's always 2 players behind that just take it. I've tried so many different things in different scenarios by using all the inputs differently to see if it works which leads to the same result, I've tweaked my settings about a million times and watched through about 30 videos about tactics, form and how to actually play and when I mimic or try to mimic it in my own way its the same outcome. Im not even claiming the game is rigged or that its hacking cause you just get called out for that but it honestly does seem like it so if there's actually a solution which doesn't mean I have to scroll through 1000 reddit posts for no reason id love that 👍.96Views2likes6Comments
