What is EA and Battlefield going to do about cheating?
Can we have an honest discussion about cheating or at least a real solution? It’s going to happen, it’s been happening since BF4. It’s the plague in COD! Even with the mass amounts of bans constantly it’s a stupid problem that is honestly ruining modern gaming! I would like to discuss or open space for ideas to actually combat this! Is there either a game mode or perhaps an overall system where we can verify players so that if they get caught cheating that verification process eliminates them from ever playing again? Instagram, X, Facebook Book and TikTok have verification processes to verify people are who they say they are. Can this or a similar system be brought to Battlefield to separate the real players from the fake ones?SolvedA minority of PC users are locked out of the game.
SecureBoot causes my computer to stutter, which is why I disabled it in the first place. You guys made this same decision for Fifa 24 and I had to refund it because I was unable to play it. Another Playtest that shall not be named uses Javelin and runs perfectly fine. So what the hell?Tried Everything But the Beta Won't Launch on PC? Create A New Local Admin User!
Hey all - sharing my post from Reddit below. I tried everything prior and even missed out on Labs because of the launcher issue. Finally got it working and hope this helps! My game wouldn't launch past the Javelin splash screen, and it wouldn't even leave anything clues in the Event Viewer. No error codes, nothing. The issue made me miss out on the Labs tests. Everything related to Secure Boot was perfect, I'm on Windows 11, and literally tried everything. I asked ChatGPT, and it threw out a last ditch idea just to try - and it worked. Basically, just create a new Local Admin User that isn't tied to a Microsoft Account. Then redownload Steam and the beta on that account, and boom it works. No idea why this could be, but I'm guessing something with the anti-cheat is tied to the Windows account itself. Here's the Command Prompt steps ChatGPT gave me: Open Command Prompt as Administrator Type the following: net user TestAdmin123 /add net localgroup administrators TestAdmin123 /add You just created a new admin user named TestAdmin123 with no password. After Creating the User Log out of your current account Switch to the new account (TestAdmin or whatever you named it) Open Steam and EA App (install fresh if needed) Launch Battlefield 6 Beta from scratch — skip copying configs or settings Hope this helps everyone who was having the same issue as me - and hopefully they patch this somehow before launch.SolvedHigh GPU usage in menu (90–95%) – RX9700XT / Ryzen 9700X
Description: While idling in the main menu, Battlefield 6 drives the GPU to 90–95% usage constantly, while CPU usage remains around 30–35%. This feels abnormal for a non-rendering/menu state – similar issue was already present in BF2042 and seems to have carried over. My suspicion: It looks like the game is unnecessarily rendering something in the background (or "mining/grinding" using our hardware). Menus should not push GPUs to near 100% load. System Specs: GPU: RX 9700 XT CPU: Ryzen 7 9700X RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX V2 (UEFI, Secure Boot On) OS: Windows 11 Pro (build 26100) Evidence: (Attached screenshot) GPU usage: ~90–95% CPU usage: ~35% Memory usage: ~16GB (menu only) Steps to Reproduce: Launch Battlefield 6 and go to the main menu. Observe GPU usage via HWiNFO64 / Task Manager / monitoring software. Note constant near-maximum GPU load without active gameplay. Expected Behavior: Main menu should be lightweight – GPU load should be minimal or capped, similar to other AAA titles (FPS limiter / vsync in menus). Actual Behavior: GPU runs at near full utilization in menu, causing unnecessary power draw and heat. Impact: Unnecessary power consumption and fan noise Increased temperatures and possible long-term wear Negative user experience, especially on high-end GPUsTwitch Drops for Early Access - Not Working or Not Well Thought Out
Good Day, Either the System is not working that is providing a Key after 60 Minutes of Watching A Twitch Streamer, or the Process is not well explained. Is there select Streamers that have the ability to Provide Early Access Keys, and if so why not publish a web page with the Twitch names of those Streamers. Reason why, Any streamer can play the Game and put in there Title that Drops are Active. I mention this, because In the last 2 days, I have watched At least 3 Streamers Playing Battlefield 6 and Have stated in the title that Twitch Dops for Keys is enabled. Some even have the !watchtime command available and for some I have over 3 hours of Watchtime - But I have not received notification from twitch about acquiring a key. I have checked my Twitch Drops and Rewards - and nothing is there, and it Does not even show anything about Battlefield 6 having an event. Also, My EA Account is Linked to My Twitch Account also. The last Statement I see from EA Stating that Drops are Enabled again is 3 days or more old. Please explain or provide some assistance. I own every Battlefield game that has ever come out, and even more than one copy of each (I have multiple EA Accounts because I have 3 Children that I brought copies for also, plus on XBOX and Playstation. Shouldn't The earliest access be awarded to your loyal Players that Buy and Play your games! (Even though I have not Played Battlefield 2042 for the last year, because I never really liked it, and after I Played the last DLC saw no reason to continue playing the game because It was just too COD-ish for me! Please give some assistance. I'm sure it will not only be appreciated by me, but by many others. Thank You!
