As promised at the end of last year, we are here with another patch update to fix some more issues. Once again, we wanted to say thank you to the community for sharing your love and creativity! January 29 Patch Notes: New Features: Ability to turn off automatic camera rotation to aid with players who may be more sensitive to motion Fixed Bugs: Unintended duplication and disappearance of certain NPCs in MySims (which in some cases, caused infinite loading screens upon achieving 5 stars) Furniture disappearing from player houses in MySims PC exclusive NPCs no longer t-pose in MySims Players can now scroll through all essences while decorating in MySims Buddy no longer has a phantom task in MySims: Kingdom All NPCs can reach Best Friend Status in MySims: Kingdom Randomize in CAS now randomizes skin tone in MySims: Kingdom The dragon costume head on Trevor’s Island has its correct dragon texture Bunnies’ positions will now reset when leaving Trevor’s Island during the herding quest to prevent softlocks on that quest After hitting exit on Fishing, player character no longer automatically re-enters Fishing Audio bugs of only one song playing, and cutscene voices being low, have been adjusted Thank you as always for playing our beloved game and being a part of our community. We continue to prioritize major bugs or crashes for our patches, while investigating community reported issues and longer term/larger fixes that have more complicated knock-on effects. Elmira deleted herself from the game?
Just ran into a bug on the Nintendo Switch version of the cozy bundle, where once I've completed the requirements for the "Needy Elmira" quest, once I go back outside she isn't there anymore, and when I tried to enter the castle the game crashed. I reloaded the game, tried to complete the quest again (Elmira still disappeared) but instead of entering the castle I went to the uncharted island to start that part of the story and headed back to capital island again. I can successfully enter the castle as normal again, and when it turned nighttime Elmira was in her house. Not sure why the game crashed the first time or why Elmira disappeared, but thought it was worth reporting.
Sims’ Interior Not Resetting & Stolen Furniture Disappearing
Hello, I’d like to report two bugs I’ve encountered in “MySims” Cozy Bundle on Nintendo Switch. First, when a Sim moves out of the town, their interior doesn’t always reset as expected. Any changes I made to their house, such as adding or removing furniture or decorations, remain unchanged. This can result in a messy interior, as everything I altered stays in place and doesn’t disappear when they leave. Secondly, when I “steal” furniture from other Sims' houses and place it in my own, the furniture sometimes disappears after I save and reload the game. For example, I took Penelope's bed, placed it in my house, had her move out, and after playing for a while, I saved and exited the game. Upon returning, the bed was gone. This has happened multiple times, and each time, Penelope’s interior wasn’t fully reset, leaving her house in disarray with the changes I initially made still in place. I’m currently playing with the latest game update. Thank you for your time and attention to these issues.
MySims Bugs Jan/25
Hello! I've come to join the discussion regarding bugs that I've found with the game. Pathfinding seems to be a bit off in this game. I noticed Patrick wandering off to what looked like the middle of nowhere, so I followed, and he took the longest path possible to get to a patch of flowers. Sims like to get stuck on top of tea pots. Poppy was having a tea party and Patrick got stuck on top of it. Same with Mayor Rosalyn. Despite being at only 1 star, I suddenly had complete access to seeing what was in the Essence Book, spoiling new content. Roof textures are a little buggy. Fishing bobber tends to ignore bubbles when fishing, and it doesn't go down most of the time. Loading screen is dead quiet. Music in general is quiet. I remember the PC version having music when walking around town, and it's eerily quiet without it. Sims take a long time to appear in their homes. Noticed that blocks will clip into each other rarely in build mode. Mostly limited to corners. Night and day changing textures are slightly slower than they used to be. There's at least a few seconds overlap from when it changes from night to day, and the main character and any nearby trees are a bit darker than the background for that duration of time. Visual glitch when trees have Essences on them. Having a full tree will make the Essences on them disappear until you shake the tree. Known glitch from the PC version as well. Cassandra needs her own relationship book page. Who is she? What does she like? Still no clue almost 20 years later. Thanks for letting me dump these here. Hey has anyone else experienced this, I’ve been playing Mysims for a couple days now and suddenly anytime I give someone a task item or try to move a townie sim in after I push done to go back to the game the game glitch’s on the loading screen? It doesn’t happen when I move commercial sims in only townies and it only does it when I give them a task item that they asked for not when I just gift them something random
