Lags and Bugs - game not playable for me
Hello everyone, I have the problem that my game often lags and freezes while playing. The freezes are about 1-2 seconds long and quickly dissappear again. I also have the issue that sometimes building objects are not interactable. A restart often fixes the problem but it is always coming back. The things I already did to troubleshoot: restarting the game, restarting the console, reinstalling the game, used different internet connection methods (different wifi and hotspot), tried handheld and TV mode. None of the above helped me. I tried them all multiple times. Nintendo refuses a refund unless I get the info, that currently there is no solution for that problem. So my question is, is there a method I haven't tried yet or can anyone help me? The EA Support chat gave me a link to this forum to ask for a possible solution52Views2likes2CommentsNew MySims Avatars for EA Forums
Hi everyone, forum admin here! I just made several MySims avatars available. To switch your avatar click on your name in the upper right-hand side of the forum. You should now be able to select "My Settings" where you can click the little edit pen to change your avatar. Enjoy! /Spectre141Views2likes0CommentsWe NEED more LANGUAGE OPTIONS and MOTION CONTROLS.
I’ve been enjoying the Cozy Bundle, but I can’t help but feel disappointed that two major features from the original games are missing: different language options and motion controls. The original Wii games included multiple languages like Dutch and a lot of other languages, making them more accessible for players worldwide. It’s strange that these options were left out, especially since localization was such a strong point of the originals. As for motion controls when docked, it’s surprising they weren’t implemented, given that the Nintendo Switch is perfect for them! Games like Switch Sports, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD have all shown how great motion controls can work on the platform. The original games had motion support and not only that, they are literally made and build around it because they are made for the Wii, so why not here? A motion control cursor and motion controls while doing basic stuff like building, mining and fishing shouldn’t be a problem on the Nintendo Switch. Come on EA and Maxis. Give this game the update it deserves so more people and also kids around the world can enjoy MySims for the first time. (Specifically the Dutch language, please patch it in in a next update)24Views1like0CommentsAudio and other Bugs/Changes
Been playing through a bit of both games and noticed some bugs or changes compared to the original Wii version of both games. MySims: Buildings that had two songs will play either one or the other on repeat instead of going back and forth. Unless intentional, building furniture or houses will play the same song on repeat instead of switching to the other 3-4 songs compared to Wii. The game frequently played the same single song even when starting another furniture project. Some flickering with the ground when building houses or furniture. When fishing, the bobber does not go under some bubbly areas. Happens about 1/5 times. When backing out of fishing, the player sim will automatically start fishing again, having to quit a second time. MySims Kingdom: Zones and menus that had multiple songs are missing the second or third song. The first song repeats when exiting and entering the area/menu or when the song loops. (Renee’s Visitor Center, Gino’s Pad, Dr. F Lab, Travel Log Menu, Outfit Selection on Boat) Sim voices in some cutscenes can be quieter compared to Wii version. Volume is normal during gameplay. Also, countdown in Rocket Reef cutscene is missing. Not sure what the terminology is or if this is what’s causing it but may have to do with the placement of the “microphone” during cutscenes. Verified it wasn’t my TV by sending video captures to another device. Videos attached to post. Buddy and Lyndsay can get stuck in some sections of Rocket Reef. This bug was in the Wii version too. Areas include the plateau near the mining wall and the rock steps near Tobor’s bridge. These are areas NPC sims normally can’t get to without jumping. Photos attached to post. Ambient sounds would stop for a brief second before looping. Few lag spikes when talking to sims but nothing game breaking, normally happens when the game is about to autosave. Not sure if everything here can be considered a bug like the music tracks stuff for both games, but I wanted to make sure. Still having a great time going through these games again, and I do like the new controls and reduced loading times.85Views1like2CommentsMysims kingdom bugs
Start of the game when mining and chopping down trees the axe moved on its own and only stops when moving away and mining it doesn’t tell you if you found the right location. Even when mining in the right spot it will stop you for a few seconds and act like your still just tapping to find the right location instead of continuing to get essences36Views1like1CommentMy Sims Cozy Bundle sold out on Amazon?
Hello, I ordered this game a few days before it came out and my order is still pending. It does not look like you can buy a new copy on Amazon either. Is anyone else having this problem? Could the game just be sold out for the time being? Thanks 🙏96Views1like1CommentChopping trees bug?
Hello! In the original Kingdoms game, we had the option to chop trees one swing at a time, we could go slow or fast, and we could take the trees on the brink of being cut down if you knew how many swings you had left. Whenever I go to chop the trees in the switch version, I now press the interact button only once and my character continues to chop until I cancel the animation (and canceling takes a LONG time. I go through an additional 5 or so swings before my character ceases to chop the tree. In some cases this causes me to cut the tree down entirely). Is this a bug, or a new feature implemented due to the lack of motion controls? Is there any way to make this interaction a button click for each swing rather than one button click for a multitude of swings?Solved34Views1like1Comment
