Bring back a legendary basketball game
To all my fellow hoopers, gamers, and basketball lovers, I’m making this message because I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. Don’t you miss when basketball gaming actually felt like basketball? The realistic movement. The smooth dribbling. The feeling of making the right read, creating your own shot, playing real defense, and having your skill make the difference. Don’t you miss getting on the game and genuinely enjoying yourself instead of feeling like you’re playing the same game over and over again? Let’s be honest with ourselves. How many more times are we going to buy the next 2K, hoping this will finally be the year things change, only to feel like we’re being sold another version of what we already paid for? How much longer are we going to keep supporting a cycle that leaves so many of us asking for more? We’re not just asking for better graphics. We’re asking for better gameplay. We’re asking for innovation, effort, creativity, and a basketball experience that reminds us why we fell in love with these games in the first place. We’re not just customers. We’re a community. We’re the people who kept basketball gaming alive, who spent hours in the park, competed with our friends, created our players, and made memories that went beyond the screen. We deserve to feel that excitement again. I’m not here to tell anybody what to buy or to tear down another company. I’m here to ask a question: What if we stopped waiting for change and started demanding another choice? Let’s give EA Sports a reason to listen. Let’s show them that there is still a community ready to support a NEW NBA LIVE. A game built around realistic movement, authentic shooting, meaningful career progression, competitive online play, streetball, customization, and, most importantly, the love of basketball. For those of us who remember NBA LIVE 18, you know the feeling I’m talking about. We want that spark back. We want something fresh. We want to get excited about basketball gaming again. Imagine a new NBA LIVE where the community has a voice, where gameplay comes first, where competition pushes everyone to do better, and where we can finally say, “This is what we’ve been waiting for.” That future won’t happen just because we talk about it. It starts when we come together, speak up, sign the petition, share the message, and show that this movement is bigger than one person. One voice can start a conversation. Thousands of voices can demand to be heard. If you’ve been feeling the same frustration, if you miss the old days, if you want another basketball game worth investing your time and money into, then stand with me. Let’s stop settling for the same conversation every year. Let’s stand together for something new. EA SPORTS, THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT. It’s time to BRING BACK REAL BASKETBALL. It’s time to BRING BACK NBA LIVE. Sign the petition. Share this message. Tag your fellow hoopers. Let’s make our voices heard. please sign and share this petition linked in this message https://www.change.org/bringbackrealbasketballWe need nba live 26

EA Sports team, We love basketball and want NBA Live to succeed again. Here’s what the community really wants from a new NBA Live game: Bring back affiliations — like in 2K17 — with 3 clear player types/affiliations, each with their own park. Let us spawn directly in our affiliation park, no huge city to walk through or load. Show us our MyPlayer drip by letting us walk around in our custom outfits and flex our style in real-time, not just in menus. Make real competitive park events with legit rewards — things like unlimited boosts, exclusive gear, XP bonuses, and leaderboards that keep us grinding and coming back. Create a dedicated “Stage” arena for the real competitive players — a place where the best of the best can play high-stakes matches, tournaments, and prove who’s the top dog. Keep the world compact and smooth — a clean park area with a store, gym, leaderboards, and the Stage arena, but no oversized city that wastes time loading or walking. Focus on fast load times, skill-based matchmaking, and crossplay to make the experience tight and fair. If EA nails this, NBA Live can easily win back players and stand toe-to-toe with 2K. The community wants a game that feels personal, competitive, and hype. Hope you see this and consider it for the next NBA Live. — A real fan and player COME HIRE ME!! Let’s work ‼️‼️The NBA Live Community Deserves a Comeback – It's Time for a New Game
Dear EA Sports Team, I’m writing this as a dedicated basketball gamer and long-time supporter of NBA Live. With the current state of basketball gaming, I—and many others in the community—firmly believe it’s time for NBA Live to make a comeback. The community is eager, the competition has grown complacent, and there’s a clear opportunity for EA to bring back a game that truly respects the sport and its fans. Why the Time Is Right The NBA 2K franchise, while dominant, has unfortunately become more focused on monetization than innovation. Year after year, core gameplay improvements are minimal, and the community is forced to navigate aggressive microtransactions just to enjoy the game fully. Many players feel that 2K has shifted its priorities away from the essence of basketball and toward profit at the expense of gameplay and player experience. NBA Live's Strengths Stand Out In contrast, NBA Live brought several refreshing features that still hold up today: A superior player builder system that offered flexibility and balance without locking crucial abilities behind paywalls. More accessible online modes, making it easier for players to hop in and enjoy the game without being punished for not spending money. Street and Pro-Am modes that actually felt like basketball—not arcade simulations filled with unrealistic animations. There’s a Growing Audience Ready to Support Gamers are more informed than ever and are actively searching for alternatives. A polished, next-gen NBA Live built on fair gameplay mechanics, community feedback, and modern graphics would be a breath of fresh air. With crossplay, offline grind-friendly modes, and a return to basketball fundamentals, EA could capture a massive share of a dissatisfied fanbase. We understand game development takes time and resources, but we urge EA to hear the voices of a passionate and growing community. Let’s bring back a game that puts players first. Thank you for considering the voices of fans who truly love the game. Sincerely, A devoted fan / DiannyJ
Bring back live
I had a dream about a new basketball ball game and a way to design it understandably 2k is your competitor but is falling off but one thing people want is a simple basketball game not city’s and cars or whatever, so instead it would be be a big gym in the front would be 3-6 3v3 courts allowing you to walk around inv to give it a unique feel emerging you in the basketball aspect and the feel/style of your character going further in the gym would be 1 big store for clothing and arm/leg sleeve shoes etc, further into the gym you would have 3-5 5v5 courts allowing you to walk around to access for open runs and a private court to inv friends to the 5v5 or 3v3 just like live 19 keeping that feel ofc you could make its serve base by city’s or north south west east, and last that would make perfect sense a 1v1 court that 19 was missing,19 was a great game, loved all the different court designs and you could still incorporate that in the gym aspect im presenting,And ofc a regular nba basketball pvp mode and online or and for friend vs friend 1v1 or 3v3 or 5v5 bring back the custom court battles
