Can't leave the ADV network?
How come the ADV network seems to be unleaveable? I’ve been experiencing issues associated with the ADV network in Titanfall 2 that are disrupting my gameplay. One of the biggest problems is that I can’t seem to leave the community normally. Even when launching the vanilla version of the game, I have to use additional launch arguments to remove myself from the community in-game. Why should I need to use launch arguments just to leave a network and play vanilla normally? Has anyone else experienced this with the ADV network? Is there a way to permanently leave the network without having to modify launch arguments every time I play?

In the network listings in Titanfall 2 there is one named the Advocate Network Chat On. The chat is directly linked to a server on Discord. The chat is a repository of racism, misogyny, violence, antisemitism, xenophobia, homophobia, and cultural prejudice. I don't believe this presents your company, or the game in a positive light. All chats whether they are public or private are subject to both slander, libel and defamation laws. Some of the conversations in this chat group breech those legal barriers. I think it's in your best interests and the interests of all Titanfall 2 players to investigate and demand accountability from the owner and Moderators of the Discord server because someone might mistakenly associate that network name with your overarching Advocate network. I've been a loyal player and member of the EA universe for more than a decade, and seeing the amount of hate and vitriol spewed out in the chat is quite disturbing.EA here is the problem
Dear EA CEO, I wanted to point out a major issue hurting games like Titanfall 2. The reason these multiplayer communities struggle or lose players is because of Sony and Xbox forcing players to pay a monthly subscription just to play online multiplayer. Players buy your game and have a good internet connection, but then they hit a paywall just to access online matches. It strangles the player count, especially for 2016 games that desperately need active lobbies. EA and developers put all the work into making great games, while console makers gatekeep the servers behind extra fees. Hello, Titanfall 2 won't launch on Windows 11 because Smart App Control blocks two DLL files included with the EA App installation. Affected files: bin\x64_retail\launcher.dll bin\x64_retail\tier0.dll Technical findings: Windows Code Integrity events: 3033, 3077 and 3089. Blocking policy: VerifiedAndReputableDesktop. Policy GUID: {0283ac0f-fff1-49ae-ada1-8a933130cad6}. Both DLLs are reported as unsigned and do not satisfy the required signing level. Smart App Control is enabled. What I have already tried: Repaired Titanfall 2 using EA App. Verified that both DLLs are present. Compared their SHA-256 hashes before and after the repair; both remained identical. Confirmed that Windows still blocks the same DLLs after the repair. I have not disabled Smart App Control or Microsoft Defender. Could an EA representative confirm whether this is a known compatibility issue and whether an official fix is available? I'm trying to play Titanfall 2, when I press play (through steam) it opens a window with the box art for a second with an "authorizing" loading bar, before closing with the EA app showing an error message saying "Failed to launch game An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later." This is on a fresh install, I've tried restarting the computer and clearing the license folder in %ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services Also previously (as in, for the last few years) the game just wouldn't show anything on start, only having steam verify it's files. For some reason re-installing today made the authorizing window show up.
