Profanity Filter is out of control
EA needs to rethink the profanity filter and take control of it away from third part companies. I'm all for restrictions in place to stop people naming clubs or players things that might offend, but the "black list" is totally out of control. There also doesn't appear to be any form of "white list", so words that are already in the game (existing club names, player names etc) cannot be used either. We logged in a couple nights ago to find out our club name - which we've used since pro clubs was first introduced 15 years ago - is now deemed offensive. This was also up until very recently part of the commentary package featured in a decade+ of games. "TFF 08" we can no longer use. In what reality can that possibly be offensive? We tried a few different combos trying to figure out what was causing it. In the trials we ended up stuck with "TFF FC".. so the offensive part was "08" or "F 08"!! This is complete ridiculous. EA, you need step up and take control of these block lists. Stop farming it out to third party companies on the cheap, that do not have any planning in place to use their lists on games like these. They are generic lists. It is not fit for purpose, and clearly isn't working at all as we still run into clubs and players daily that push their racist & homophobic ideas onto other people with creative slang. There's many other issues with the game that need addressing, and having to jump through these hurdles to try and play the game we used to love is getting tedious. Keep treating the community this way and we'll be the first to jump ship when another option arrives - as will a lot of other game mode players no doubt.Adding a new Volta season in 2026
Hello, As a part of trophy hunting community, I would like to ask if it's possible to create a new Volta season? Most of us aren't even bothered with progress related rewards and would only play for the ding at the end of the journey. Even if it is longer than usual, it would make sense to keep all trophies achievable for people that care for them. Since the game is pretty old and not really supported, we have lost daily/weekly challenges in UT which makes getting End of the Line almost a year long ride. Getting 50 vanity items takes like 1000 games, but they are still doable even if you have to spend most of your free time playing the mode you don't really fancy. So I would like to ask if it's possible to add something similar to Volta so that 'On the Way up is achievable again. I know that it was a similar case in previous game, but I still have a small hope that maybe with the activities around Stop killing Games, EA could extend their hand to the players and keep all features available until they decide to call it quits. keeps disconnecting pro clubs game
EA stays on brand by releasing broken games. What's crazy is seeing other's post how this issue started in the Beta meaning that EA already had this data and still released the game without fixing their servers. Before any advisor's post a solution, I did restart the game, I restarted my modem. tried both Ethernet and wifi connection (both had Open for network status), tried disabling cross play and local matchmaking. I tried every troubleshoot technique I could find on any youtube video, reddit thread, and game blog article, and nothing works. I'll find an opponent, and this get disconnected with the message that the game session is no longer available. So glad I spent $60+ for a broken game. I imagine that everyone at EA has to have a background where they've denied coverage for people on their deathbeds at an insurance company, been on the team with Martin Shkreli, DMV clerk, or comcast/xfinity customer service.
Getting kicked out of pro clubs during games
We were in our final promotion match to get into elite division in pro clubs( club name oblongfarm). We were winning 3-0 at half time when suddenly we get told there was an error in the syncing and all Xbox players got kicked out meaning we forfeited the match and lost our chances to get into elite division whereas we should easily have got into elite division. This has happened on multiple occasions where only the Xbox players of our club( and the other club in friendlies) have been kicked out. But in a playoffs game this is a lot bigger of a problem as we did not deserve to lose due to an error in the server.this happened around 10:13 pm. If we could have some compensation that would be great since it's very unfair to have to go back to the start due to an error in the server
