Playing human goalie in EASHL is not fun at the moment
As a top goalie for many years, I can honestly say playing goalie in Clubs at the moment feels like a chore instead of being fun and exciting. Too many times I will be in great position and goals are going in with ease and one times being OP and going in a lot is not fun... It's going to make people not want to play the position at all this year, and it's not just me saying this ask any top goalie at this time... EA SPORTS NHL 25 launches worldwide tomorrow and there are a few issues that we’ve addressed in this Day 1 Patch. Read on for all the details. Patch 1.1.0 Are you serious?
Anyway absolutely nothing that I and others have requested has been included in this patch, purchasing the deluxe edition was pointless for us who play chel as its not worth playing with the features that are missing and certain bugs... I'm disgusted the game has released as it has, and will 110 percent not be buying another EA Sports NHL game again on release... From lack of feedback (apart from one of the community managers which has been nothing constructive) I genuinely believe unless they bring someone new in to make these games how they used to be its potentially a downhill from here... I know many others who wont buy your games day one again either, and it's sad because of the memories many of us make on your game. Please get the passion back, this is the last post I will be putting on here and will wait to see if the devs actually patch what we have asked for... Updates and nothing is fixed
How are we going to get an update and nothing in world of chel is fixed. Delayed movement is still an issue, movements with the new Ice-Q has made the game even worse. One tees have already been broken in the game and they made it even worse. Shots for deflection are automatic goals now. Overall this game gets worse every year. At this point we might need to move back to 2k just to have a decent game.World Of Chel - Was this intended or going to be fixed list
I am going to start with I am a fan of this year minus what I could only consider bugs that will be addressed sooner than later. First of all I know every year there are bugs that come with the game but what can we as a community do to help EA with making sure the game comes out pretty much done when it is released, especially for us who paid for the Deluxe edition and really didn't have much to work with other than ping that was sometimes unbearable. Please advise if there is anything we can do like a Beta maybe like we use to but instead of waiting till late August have a beta we can work on in July so the fixes are ready by October late September. I think a lot of us are really down to help out with this knowing it will make it a better game for all. Here is a list of things I would like to know if they were intended to be like this for the year or if they will be fixed in a timely matter. Match Making - Server locations and +1 -1 for finding games. Not having NHL team colors when building your Team. I used some thing similar to the SJ Sharks color scheme and trying to nail that teal color instead of just choosing that color from the list is a bit frustrating. Not needed but not sure why it was not in this years game. Replays after a goal or any replay at that point that wasn't the play that just happened. The goal one make me laugh especially when my buddy (defender) gets a goal and its like hey here is the other team big hit. AI I thought was suppose to be better but the D AI still gets beat as they stand there or the they just are out of position ( yes our users are in the right spot). Goalie Tethering issue , I don't think I need to say more but since I should I turn it off and Poof its on again. Pressure meter for some reason is to quick to fill and takes too long to drain. This was addressed last year not sure why it reverted back. Sync before Face offs causing loss of face off Really hope this can be implemented next year : Being able to bring the club and setting from Prior year over. For some time now especially during the playoff we see to many teams creating club after club to get that elusive trophy. While I understand the desire behind it I think clubs like our and other that I see on a regular basis should be able to bring our club over year after year. The person that created the club should have this ability instead of having to recreate everything every year. I really like this years graphics and Physics hell even the replays have great angles and we are not looking at a wall, even if it isn't the right replay. But for the most part- Play your position, make smart passes and don't force the puck, stay off the gas unless you are in need to hustle as hustling makes everything harder from controlling the puck to making accurate passes. Don't take risk trying to make a big hit and leave your teammates short handed on a break away. Last when the game doesn't feel fun anymore try that Spin move you have been working on try a bounce off the wall pass to your self. This is still just a game and as an older adult who still loves playing games when the going gets tough crack a cold one and just practice some cool moves.
L1 Shotblock Exploit After Being Hit
This is embarrassing...It's been like this for 3 years guys... You've put all of this effort into making hitting better, just to leave this obvious exploit in the game? Why?! It looks absolutely terrible! You and your friends are watching the replay of an amazing hit you had, and you see them press R1 shotblock and like magic they're back on their feet like nothing happened.... Either this issue is a code issue that requires cert, which you've already been through a bunch by the way, or you can't fix this for some other reason, because the repro steps on this are 100% reliable and easy to do 1.) Get hit 2.) During get up animation, press L1 3.) Observe players gets back up quicker, avoiding get up animation This NEEDS to get fixed.
State of EASHL / WoC
With the removal of search settings, “queue dodging” is becoming a widespread issue. Player goalies are being forced into unfair matchups against AI, and lag in some games is completely out of control with the server region settings gone. it’s now harder than ever to get into a game, and even more difficult to enjoy the game you get into. Many posts have been made about this issue, and it’s yet to be addressed leaving me to believe that the removal of this feature is intentional. Looking for a community manager response
One Tee X-Factor Needs To be Nerfed
The One Tee X-Factor Needs to be Nerfed quick. Every team we have played in EASHL has been running it and it has been the only thing they were trying. Covering 5 people at the same time is impossible and not fun. I understand keeping the timing one tee which already goes in 95% of the time but mixing it with the One Tee X-Factor makes it automatic.
