My friends, a lovely older, married couple, with kids. Plays almost every night for at least 2 hours.
Ever since the forced change over from Origin to EA App they have had an issue where, one of them ALWAYS gets kicked while our squad joins a game. We are in a squad of 3, we start searching, the party finds a server, all our screens switch to the loading screen for the server... then an invisible coin flip happens and one of them gets booted back to the "Exodus screen."
This has been an EVERY game experience since the EA App switch over. My guess... The servers dont like that they are playing together on the same network connection. Their "temp fix" is that once the host starts searching they both have to minimize their games untill the game loads in and starts. (I'd find it hard to believe if I wasnt playing with them every day and experienced the 100% kick rate drop to like a 30%. And that 30 is due to them sometimes forgetting to minimize.)
Their PCs are the exact same model of prebuilts... I think its Dell, with AMD CPUs and 3080s

This has been an issue for me and my husband for a while, we’re on PS5. It’s always the party leader that gets kicked to the main screen. Guess it doesn’t like that we’re on the same network, only fix for us is to reboot the router. Frustrating
