Look , i really like the idea of the Portal mode. A lot of very cool stuff went into making this and that is great.
But i can not help but notice one glaring issue:
Dice has made it clear they are not adding a Battle Royale mode to this new BF ( very disappointing).
But on top of that your not even gonna allow us the tools to make ones ourselves?
"There will be some limitations such as not being able to build a Battle Royale mode (yes, we knew you would ask)."
Here is my thing with this. You are clearly aware of a large appetite from people who want to see a current times BR made by the best company suited to do it. You clearly recognize the strong desire for it. I was asking myself earlier when i heard about the portal if it would be a way we could make our own BR. Your purposely not going to allow that plus not making it yourself. This is just very disappointing news to many people ( not just myself). Come on Dice , you know the desire is there. Make it happen please !
Not having a BR is great, it’s overrated, besides, we’ve seen what happened to BF5’s BR, so no.
They’re adding fkn portal, it looks great, now you’re out here complaining about no BR, lmao.
Just wait until Hazard Zone at least, people keep saying it’s like BR, so just calm down until then.

Look , i get it , some people do not like BRs and thats fine. However a lot of people do like the mode and thats all it is , a mode. Just as to you BR is "overrated" some other people feel having infinite lives so you can just run around aimlessly without much thought and no real consequence for dying is "overrated" as well. People like different things and thats why its good for these companies to provide options . Not everyone loves rush , or conquest , or tdm ( not even saying myself but im aware those are all not for everyone). I love BF and have been a fan a long time . Im excited for this game. I also play PUBG a lot because currently its the most realistic BR ( the only one ill play). However i know for a fact Dice can do it way better . Many people feel that way and were excited they would make a current times one. The reason Firestorm flopped was NOT because it was a BR. It was because it was hidden behind a 60$ paywall if thats all you wanted to play & it came out so long after launch as well. Also it was set in WW2 times and most of the guns you got had nothing but iron sights. People want a current times realistic BR, not that. Those are the reasons Firestorm did not do so well.
Maybe Hazard Zone will be "like" a BR but they seem to refuse to say a word about it until almost launch time. Plus many speculate its more like Escape from Tarkov which im not a fan of honestly.Time will tell i guess, but i still think with this awesome tool of the Portal they are adding, they could provide us the options where we could make our own BRs . I really do not see the problem with that, those who dont want to play a BR dont have to there will be plenty of stuff to still enjoy. With the community adding more content by their creations this gives a great way to keep adding cool content to this all the time.
I just know Dice could make the best realistic BR there is and slightly disappointed they look to be not wanting to do that. I still love BF and still will be pre-ordering because this game looks to be really good!!
