can we play the game in single player mode like in battlefield 2 with just bots? because when the game releases , i will be at work and i won't have a fast internet access  to play against people online. i tethering off my phone and i just want to play with bots for practice.

      Yes. Although you still need to be connected to the servers.

      Although currently in the preview version of the Portal Editor there is a bug that won't let us put up to 127 AI in the server.

      Hopefully it's fixed before release 🙂
