DICE TeamI have been playing your game and enjoying it a lot, the specialist class is cool and i like the new system without the traditional classes, it is nice to have to have the option of equiping the tool needed for the task without changing all your loadout. I think this game doesnt need a "core game" revision. This game needs Bug fixes and new content, thats all, and sadly, the later isnt coming for a long time (summer?, common population declines steadily without new content). Focus on making 2042 what it is and give traditional bf players more weapons and maps in portal, keep working on the bf3 aspect of it.
If you change the system, making it more restrictive (class restrictive weapons, etc), you are catering to people that wont play your game, you will end up disatisfying the other part of the community that actually plays. Make sure to get feedback of people that bought the game, not some random on the internet that didnt and is riding the hate because of other reasons. Make an ingame survey or an EA forum survey (an in game survey would give the better result).
Also, making a granny your primary medic in this game is not as cool as you think it is.
