I'd like to admit that the Battlefield franchise has me back as a fan! I stopped playing and buying the new games because of a couple of reasons. The last Battlefield game I bought was Battlefield 1, just to see if I would like a game that was set back in time. Which I really didn't like. I was even fortunate enough to play the alpha version of the game and I appreciate that. I just couldn't get used to the older guns, attachments (lack there of), and the vehicles. I'm used to the newer jets, helicopters, and tanks.
So I went to playing COD games which only reminded me of why I hated the franchise in the first place (campers).
But I'm glad to see that Battlefield is back in the modern day and even in the future. It's cool to see that it's not about shooting a bunch of ray guns or something like a sci fi shooter. It's looks and from the articles sounds like it's a promising game. I can't wait to play the beta and the full version. I will definitely be streaming my gamplay. Maybe there is a way I can get in on the alpha? Maybe a partner or promotional streaming deal of some sort? I'm a new streamer Dice or EA get back to me. It's worth a shot.
@McCay8723Yeah its cool that BF2042 is just a natural progression of ballistic weaponry. BF2142 was the same...it wasn't all the sudden Halo or Star Wars. So I already expected this from BF2042. The modern day familiar aspects mixed with imaginative future tech makes for an awesome mix.
