From the beginning, our design intent for our RPG archetype based abilities and progression system has been that no coach can be great at everything.
I have just one question: WHY NOT?
Sure, it isn't realistic, but who cares? Some people play for realism. Others play for other reasons. Once you reach the level cap of a dynasty, it eliminates one of the biggest reasons to keep playing that dynasty. Why not allow for the OPTION for those who want it to keep growing their coach and keep improving their dynasty for many years?
I just fundamentally don't get the reason behind restricting this option. Nobody is forcing those who DO want a level cap from using it. But forcing this "design intent" on those who don't want it just doesn't make a ton of sense. It forces people to play the way you, the devs, want rather than letting the players decide how they want to play.
I humbly ask that this be changed to an option to toggle it on or off. For those who want to restrict themselves to Level 100, more power to you! Enjoy the game your way and certainly it does make sense that, realistically, no coach can be great at everything.
But for those who would rather just have the fun of making a God Emperor style of coach over time, it wouldn't hurt anybody at all to let us.
