Like I mean if you need to get rid of a game get rid of one that no one plays mabey dragon age the veilguard

Wait, seriously? You're shutting down the PS3 servers for Garden Warfare on April 28, 2026? That's gotta be a mistake, right?

The PS3 still has the biggest player base for this game! Like, by far. So many of us are still playing daily. It literally makes zero sense to shut down the servers on the platform with the MOST players. Why would you kill the biggest community first?

Please rethink this. It's a bad move.

Really silly to shut down a version that still makes you guys money but not the version that doesnt make a penny due to the Xbox 360 marketplace's shutdown(don't take that as an endorsement of shutting down the 360 version, I'm just pointing out how strange this is that this is SPECIFICALLY targeted towards the ps3 version, despite this being one of the most active ps3 multiplayer games even in the modern era). Could you guys elaborate on what exactly these "changes" are that requires a full shutdown of the ps3 GW servers? There is no transparency other than "we need to make changes and the ps3 wont work with that". Why are these changes compatible with every other platform except the ps3 version? If you are being honest about you guys being "forced" to do this rather than it just being a "its old, move on" situation, could you at least soften the blow by being upfront about why this has to be done? Because right now this just feels like a punch to the gut to the loyal community of this game with no real answer on why you're doing this. Is there ANY way you can make these changes without needing a full shutdown (if some features have to be discontinued, thats fine so long as we can at least play the game)? Will there be refunds offered to people who just recently purchased the game? Literally ANY transparency would be appreciated because while I commend you taking the time to write this post, all it did was leave me with more questions than answers. 

I just feel betrayed , honestly very dissapointed my childhood being ereased i remember how much i played pvz gw and to this day i play it and the servers are full on the xbox 360 everything is dead the ps3 is alive but not for long RIP plants vs zombie garden warfare the community loves you and i love you , goodbye

Please reconsider shutting down the PS3 servers for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. A lot of people still play this version of the game every day and the community is still active. It’s still possible to find matches and many players return to the game because of nostalgia and the fun it offers.

For many of us this game is a big part of our childhood and gaming memories. Even though the game is old, it still brings people together and keeps the community alive on PS3.

We understand that maintaining old servers can be difficult, but it would mean a lot to the community if the servers could stay online longer. Thank you for creating such an amazing game.

As a PS3 player and longtime fan of the Garden Warfare franchise I strongly believe this is a mistake, the ps3 severs are still heavily populated and cherished to this day. I am starting a petition to keep the servers open and to prove their populated existence, so please go out and sign it to try and keep this game alive if not for those who still play do it for all the people who as kids loved and cared about this game.

I am a GW1 Ps3 player since 2021, and I gotta say, EA is one of the WORST companies EVER. COME ONE, look at GW2 situation, and now this????? What is your problem, EA??? Money??? The amount of money you can have from both these games alone if you do one thing right! What is your **bleep** problem! Like, what even is the reason for shutting down Ps3????

Due to the shutdown, I have been playing GW2 on Pc and, oh my **bleep** god, even though how fun it is sometimes, it is so much more unbalanced and the hackers are so bad that I want to quit PvZ GW forever.

Why can't you do one thing right, bro... GW1 and 2  are so fun... but no, it had to be you!
