woohoo! can’t believe we’re so close to Early Access. we’ve got update 0.27.7 coming on Sept 16, 2025 and will have full patch notes and Known Issues for that on Sept 15, 2025, but wanted to give you a heads-up on some of the bigger issues we’re seeing reported.

• Getting Stuck Under the Map
• Workaround: Other players can use build-kit objects to help the stuck player escape. San Van Citizen Rescue Activate! 
• Fix: Fixed in Update 0.27.7.
• “Err” Notification
• Workaround: None.
• Fix: Fixed in Update 0.27.7.
• PC players unable to turn off friend request notifications.
• Workaround: None.
• Fix: Fixed in Update 0.27.7.
• Players can be trapped by drop items in shop spawn locations. 
• Workaround: Change “Quick Drop Visibility” in your social settings to “Only Me”.
• Fix: Team is working on a fix. We’ll share an update on our Discord and forums as soon as we can.
• Players are able to see other skaters when in spectate mode and can still hear them however in normal gameplay, they are invisible.
• Workaround: None
• Fix: Fixed in Update 0.27.7.
• If a party member leaves, the party behaves as if they are still joined.
• Workaround: Try leaving the party again. If that does not work, restart the game.
• Fix: Fixed in Update 0.27.7.
• PC CPT players having issues with EA Javelin due to existing CPT build conflicting with the new Early Access build.
• Workaround: Uninstall the skate.CPT build before installing the skate. Build. Note: Due to the builds having the same install folder, it will appear the skate.CPT reinstalled. Launch the skate. tile, not the skate.CPT tile.
• Fix: Team is working on a solution to resolve this fully. We’ll share an update on our Discord and forums as soon as we can.
• Unable to play Skate. due to a "connection to EA Servers" error. "ERROR 852146987"
• Troubleshooting: Make sure to disable VPN; check that the EA App is not in offline mode. For more troubleshooting help, check this Connectivity FAQ.
• Founder's Edition - Info Panel shows cross out pricing even if the player does not have EA Play.
• Fix: Fixed in Update 0.27.7.
• Players buying the Deluxe Founders Pack must restart the game to get their items (Xbox).
• Workaround: Restart the game
• Fix: Fixed in Update 0.27.7.
