Friday Highlights - August 14th

We’ve made it to another Friday and it’s finally time to enjoy the weekend. What exciting plans do you have for the next couple days? I just got a new baking recipe book, so I will be practicing with some homemade pastries and pies ☺️Have you got any good recipes to recommend? Share them with me!

• We’re kicking the week off with a highly impressive fantasy town build, Whispering Town, created by LLYONG1​. This little town is inspired by all things Ghibli and centers around a small canal at the base of a large hill. It includes 8 different buildings, full of various residential units, shops and cafes, with lots of small surprises to find as you explore 🐈🐈🐈 At the top of the hill, you’ll find a gorgeous pagoda overlooking the town below. • Since we’ve just hit the halfway point for August, let’s check back in on the forum’s favorite challenges and story thread, One Month, One World, One Year. This week, we’ve got another story entry from GlazeyLady​ and the Rollins family as they settle into San Sequoia and welcome the newest family member, Stella. For this giveaway, all you need to do is share your favorite memories from your high school days 🏫📚🍎 Personally my favorite were my years spent in marching band and performing at all the state wide competitions.
