Friday Highlights - July 10th

It's Friday again, and I think we’re all ready for the weekend. I’ve recently taken up cross-stitching and I’m very excited to curl up on the couch all weekend and work on my newest project. So what are you all up to? Any new hobbies you’ve started? Tell me all about it!

Time to relax and enjoy the week’s highlights: 

• Nickelodeon had some of the best shows growing up, so let’s recreate some of our favorites with this Nickelodeon themed legacy challenge, created by Jonlou2019​. Like most legacies, you’ll have 10 generations to work through, but for this challenge, each generation is based on some of our favorite childhood shows. You’ll start out as the infamous Spongebob and finish up in gen 10 at The Loud House, with plenty of other classic shows in between. Ready to relive your childhood? • As a native Texan, I naturally love all things western, so this little old-timey Pioneer Retreat created by cbarber89​ is right up my alley. Decorated with rustic decor and weathered wood, this classic saloon is the perfect watering hole for any hard working cowboy. Downstairs, you can grab a drink at the bar or play your favorite tune on the old upright piano. Make your way upstairs to the rooftop bar and hit the grill to host a proper BBQ and take in the scenery. So grab your Stetson and your snake skin boots and be sure to check out this adorable saloon! 🤠🏜️🪕
  
  
• July 5th officially marks the beginning of Spooky Season in my house, so we’re finishing the week with an incredible early Halloween treat from RoxySim1977​ who has created a fantastic and very spooky short Sims film, called Trespass. Impressive enough to be submitted to the Short Film Awards, this unsettling short takes place on a quiet winter night as an unsuspecting burglar breaks into a condemned and abandoned home. But as he begins to rummage around, he discovers it may not be as abandoned as he thought… What could possibly be lurking in the shadows? Be sure to watch for yourself to find out! 🕸️🏚️☠️
