Friday Highlights - June 26th

It’s Friday again and we’re back with more highlights! So how many of you will be busy watching the world cup this weekend? And if the world cup was hosted in The Sims, who do you think would win? My bets are on Moonwood Mill 🌝

Don’t be afraid, we’ve got some great highlights for this week! 

• This last weekend we celebrated all the amazing and dedicated dads out there with Father’s Day, but let’s celebrate our favorite Sim dads too in this Father’s Day 2026 discussion by 12JEREMIA​. If I had to pick a favorite father in The Sims, it would be Mortimor Goth, solely because he gives off serious Gomez Addams vibes 🖤But who is your favorite and why? Would you pick Eric from the Spencer-Kim-Lewis household, or the infamous Geoffrey Landgraab? And does Father Winter count? Share with us who your choice is! 
  
  
• Eurovision just wrapped up last month, but who wants to wait another full year for the next round? Thanks to Jonlou2019​, you don’t have to with this new legacy challenge, Eurovision Song Contest. This challenge is 10 generations long and you’ll have a specific backstory to follow, a set world to live in, and aspirations or goals to achieve based on previous artists and songs of Eurovision. So if you think you have what it takes to create the next big musical hit, give this challenge a try! 🎼👩‍🎤📀
  
  
• Up next, we have a sparkling new story for a timeless gameplay challenge, Jewell Name Challenge, written by Dinkus83​. Our founder for this story is Jasmine Jewell, an outgoing snob who has just moved into her new beachside home in Sulani. Life is starting off a bit rough for Jasmine as our poor girl gets stuck in the rain, attacked by a seagull, and pinches her finger trying to craft a new fridge. So when will things start looking up? Will she be able to make friends with the locals? And will she finally get a working fridge? There’s only one way to find out, so make sure you tune in! 💎💎💎
  
  
• I’ve always dreamed of living in a classic Victorian house, and while I may not be able to do that, my Sims can with this beautiful Victorian style home, created by littlebluecoco​. This lovely home has a traditional closed room floorplan with a large kitchen, formal dining area, and cozy sitting room. Head upstairs and you’ll find two spacious balconies covered in hanging wisteria, the master suite, and stairs leading up to the secret turret bedroom. Full of ornate details, powder blue tones and lush landscaping, this build stays true to the Victorian style, so be sure to check it out for yourself! 😍🩵
  
  
• Let’s finish the week off strong with a brand new base game challenge, Proving Legacy Challenge, created by Blaze_L01​. For this challenge, your goal is to reach generation 15 with 3 different families. Along the way, you’ll need to have at least one set of twins, develop a relationship with a service NPC (think fireman, maid, or mailman) and one family member must have at least one skill fully maxed. This challenge is meant to be laid-back and long-term, so if you’re wanting a relaxed way to expand your legacy, this challenge is perfect for you! 🧑‍🚒💗👩‍🔧
