Friday Highlights - May 29th

For those of you in the US, I hope you had a lovely long weekend! What did you get up to? I feel like it’s a requirement to host a BBQ or eat at least one hot dog on Memorial Day. I did neither of those, but I did do a lot of relaxing 🙃

• I’ve recently fallen in love with the forum’s cutest raccoon, Ringtail, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw he now has his own official gameplay story, Ringtails Quest For Moxie's Crown, written by BlueSeaWaves​. This mischievous little cutie has been on vacation in Dembele, and while his family is off sight-seeing, Ringtail has other plans- stealing the kingdom’s crown jewels. This story may be short, but it has everything a good crime novel needs- a risky heist, an accomplice, plenty of danger, and a happy ending. So will Ringtail escape with his treasure, or will he be thrown into the dungeons? The final chapter has just been released, so be sure you tune in to find out how it ends! 🦝👑
  
  
• Up next, we have an old gameplay story that has just recently been getting some new updates- Tusnelda and Trix - The Future Holds It All, written by MonaSolstraale​. This story follows Tusnelda and her beloved cat Trix, an inseparable duo eager to start a new life together, and introduces several more lovely characters along the way 👩‍🦰❤️🐱 A lot has happened since this story last left off, but these days Tusnelda and Martin are pursuing their dreams of starting a family, while Ramsus And Izumi expand theirs. We get to celebrate a long awaited wedding, and explore the many secrets of StrangerVille. So make sure you catch up with this emotional and heartfelt story to find out what all your favorite characters have been up to! 
  
  
• We’ve all been enamored with Bridgerton for the past couple weeks, so why not have a little fun with this new Bridgerton themed challenge, The Diamond Challenge, created by JAY-CAMAROGIRL-​ and GLovely1​! For this challenge, you’ll be creating a glamorous and captivating Sim that sparkles with confidence and desire ✨💎 But that’s not all! You’ll also be completing an elegant room build that reflects your Sims personality. Would your Sim rather be seen at the ball, or perhaps a small and intimate tea party? Wherever you think they would shine the most, be sure to share your Sims and your custom designed rooms for this challenge! 
  
  
• Creative inspiration can come from many different places, but Brd709​ is wondering specifically where your builds come from. For my builds, I get inspiration all over- sometimes from floor plans I find online, sometimes from real houses, or even from shows and movies I watch. But we want to know what inspires you to build, do you recreate real houses that you see, or do you build solely based on your imagination? Do you ever use floor plans, or do you only build based on exterior photos you find? However the inspiration strikes you, be sure to tell us about it! 💭🏗️🚧
  
  
• And finally, we have a new legacy gameplay story written by Lizzielilyy​, called The Ember Legacy. This story begins with founder Winnie Ember, who has just recently moved to Twinbrook to restore and renovate her family’s large estate. But things are not quite what they seem in Twinbrook, and Winnie can’t help but be drawn into the mystery and secrets surrounding her estate. So what kinds of things will she uncover? And what’s with these weird townspeople? Check out this mysteriously eerie story to find out! 🏚️🏚️🏚️
