Friday Highlights - May 8th

Welcome back to another Friday as we finish up our first full week of May! Summer is now right around the corner, and it is definitely getting hotter outside. Do you prefer the warm summer weather, or are you more comfortable and cozy in the cold? Since I live in the south, I’m a bit tired of the heat and already counting down the days until I can pull out my sweaters again 😊

It’s been a busy week, so let’s catch up on all the news! 

• On Tuesday, our latest Laundry List was released! We’ve got some exciting upcoming fixes and features, so be sure to grab a sneak peek here. 
  
  
• And on Thursday, we announced two new Kits and a new login event- Lady Bridgerton’s Masquerade Ballroom & Lady Bridgerton’s Masquerade Ball Fashion! Get ready for the top social event of the season with these kits and login event, launching next week. Read more about them here!

• Sims 4 - A new month means it’s time to focus on a new world and aspiration in the One Month, One World, One Year challenge, with May all about fairies and Innisgreen 🧚🧚🧚 We got some great new entires this week, but today we’ll be focusing on Mirza Khan’s story, written by Kanindota​. Mirza is a young barista who has just moved to the Coast of Adhmor alongside his beloved heirloom duck statue. And just when Mirza feels like he’s settled into this peculiar new world, something strange happens… Curious to know more? Make sure you tune into this fun supernatural entry and follow along with Mirza’s adventures! 
  
  
• It’s officially wedding season, and what’s a good wedding without the perfect party venue? Well BansheeHVO​ has got the spot for you with this luxurious Tartosa Seaside Residence. • This week also brought us an update on the beloved Cantrell Chronicles with Chapter 19, written by GalacticGal​. In this chapter, Erik prepares for another big awards ceremony as he hopes to secure a third of four prestigious music awards. So will he win and be one step closer to his goals? • And to wrap the week up, we have yet another stunning build from the on-going Petite Alsace world building collaboration- Academie Coubertin, created by Hidehi2​. This school was inspired by French historian Pierre de Coubertin, and includes the esteemed Crestview School with a basement level stadium, small cafe and study area, and a colorful classroom. Outside, you’ll find outdoor seating, a basketball court, and chess tables surrounded by a beautiful garden. This lovely little school is enough to inspire any young Sim to learn, so be sure to check it out! And for those of you that want to contribute to this wonderful world collab, a new lot claiming period is now open through May 15th! 🏫🍎
