It’s been raining a lot here, so I’ll stay cosy and will be watching horror movies and Halloween cartoons, and of course snacking on some spooky treats. 👻🎃

And now let’s jump to the highlights, if you dare..

• 🌌 A light flickering… a rustling in a bush… a shadow passing too quickly… the wind that sounds like a lamentation… or is it the wind…? Can you picture the scene? If you can’t, wrenstales2212​  has created the perfect spot to spend your Halloween night. So come join us at All’s Hallows Eve Park if you’re brave enough! Whether you’re a vampire, a werewolf, a spell binder, or a completely regular sim, there will be plenty of things to do to celebrate the most ghoulish night of the year: compete in a chess tournament, search for the hidden creature in the swamp, search for treasures… and it includes public bathrooms. Could it be any better?
  
  
• 📖 We have a new chapter of The Whittaker Saga brought to us by JesLet40​ , 1970s: Two Birthdays and a Funeral. In this new rendition, Cindy celebrates her birthday and turns into a teenager. Steven on his end goes to prom reluctantly, but ends up having a lot of fun there, while Beth is also enjoying the college party - and seems to be enjoying the college life in general. Susan is struggling with her love life, but tries to put her issues aside to celebrate Steven’s birthday. Finally, a death notice comes in unexpectedly, giving Anna the push to change something about her life...
  
  
• 🐍 For The Sims 3 lovers, Cuniculosa​ has been sharing tiny Halloween builds that are so cute it’s spooky! My favourite one is the most recent, Hesper’s Herps and Sundry: it’s a pet shop that specializes in reptiles as well as common pets. The outside is very inviting for Halloween lovers, with a big balcony, warm lightning and big windows so you can have a little peek inside. Built on two floors, the ground floor includes several reptile tanks and a cash register. At the top floor, sims can enjoy a nice horror book by a warm cosy fire, and they can step outside on the balcony for a bit of fresh air. There are orange and black colours, pumpkins and black cats for the perfect classic Halloween feel. It’s not just a pet shop, it’s an experience! 👻
  
  
• 🗺️ Next up, elliebreton​  is asking you all how do you decide where to live. There are many worlds in the game now and while it’s great to have plenty of choices, sometimes too many options makes it hard to pick one! Some players have their go-to world, or will try to match the world with their sim personality and pick where their sims would want to be living, and others even have a system based on the date they plan to pick the neighborhood and the house or lot! It’s hard to sum up all the replies, so I encourage you to have a look in the thread directly! I’m a creature of habits myself, so I tend to pick the same worlds: Brindleton Bay, Sulani, Henford on Bagley. I like to visit the other neighborhoods but I never stay there, so it must be time to step out of my comfort zone!
  
  
• 🍂 Alright, we got a spooky park, and a spooky petshop, but what about us introverts who like to spend most of their fall time at home? Thankfully, cozysimslifeyt​ got us sorted with a bootiful Halloween Family Home. It includes two bedrooms, an office, a kitchen and living room: ideal for a couple and their child! I absolutely love the front porch with all the pumpkins, perfect to invite trick-or-treaters. The house is of course decorated with all the Halloween and spooky decorations. I would love it if those were available in real life, especially that skeleton rug! What would be your favourite?
