Friday Highlights - September 25th

Sul Sul everyone! 

It has been a very busy week, but we have finally made it to the weekend. It is now officially fall, which means it’s time to bust out the pumpkin spice candles, bake all the apple pies, and pull out your favorite cozy sweaters from the back of the closet. Anyone else celebrating by hitting the pumpkin patch this weekend? 

A quick recap of the week:

• Apart from the Fall Equinox, Tuesday brought us the latest base game update which included a ton of bug fixes and an exciting new SCD! If you missed the notes, you can catch up on everything included here.

Time to reflect on the amazing highlights from this week! 

• A couple weeks ago we celebrated The Sims 4’s 12th birthday, so let’s keep the party going with this Pick a Pack Giveaway hosted by simgirl1010​! For this giveaway, five different winners will be chosen to win a code for Get Famous, Get Together, Discover University, Vintage Glamour, Fitness Stuff Pack, or the classic Throwback Fit Kit. • It’s been just over a year since Enchanted by Nature was released, so Simmerville​ wants to know- how are your fairies currently doing, and what have they been up to in the last year? The fairies in my game have been very busy- they have just recently moved into a lovely palace in Ondarion and have been running a royal horse ranch in hopes to eventually take the crown and rule the kingdom. But what about the fairies in your world? Have they been quietly keeping to Innisgreen, or are they exploring other worlds? Are you working through any gameplay challenges or stories with them? Whatever they’ve been up to, tell us all about it! 🧚🌱
  
  
• Up next, we have a beautiful Grand Home created by cbarber89​. While this house is still a work in progress, it’s already quite impressive with several stately staircases, marbled chef’s kitchen, and large formal dining room. Outside, you’ll find a children’s playground, a two-story greenhouse, and a private crypt to honor the passed family members. Even though this build isn’t quite finished, it’s already shaping up to be quite a manor, and I can’t wait to see the finished product! 🥀🖤
  
  
• This week we have a brand new chapter to dive into for the long running gameplay story, Creek Tales, written by JesLet40​. Link, Harmony and Daisy are finally settling into their new home in Brindleton Bay. Spring has just arrived, and as Harmony focuses on growing her garden, Daisy keeps herself busy by exploring the dating pool, and Link gets the chance of a lifetime to own his very own vet clinic. But will he be able to pull the money together in time to buy the clinic? Stay tuned to find out what happens! 🐕🩺⚕️
  
  
• And finally, we also got an update on the classic gameplay story by DaniRose2143​, Under The Tartosan Sun. This week, Allegra makes a surprise visit to Tartosa to seek Liberty’s advice after receiving a disappointing offer from the opera. But it’s not just the offer that’s been bothering her… she’s not only been questioning her career, but the entire life she’s built in Windenburg. So what does she truly want? Will she find the answer in her blossoming romance with Venessa? This week’s chapter was quite the cliffhanger, so make sure you check in on what happens next! 💖
