- ChadSims2Seasoned NoviceOh please no don't let this be the final look of the hair we went from playdoh to shiny plastic looking playdoh. Is it too much to ask for a little detail and realism. This hair makes me feel like someone wearing lasagna.
- PaNDieeSeasoned NewcomerI hope in sims 5 we can get hair physics

Cool behind-the-scenes content of their equestrian center trip for research
Saw the photos and I was like “yeah, those are my stomping grounds”. Well not the actual place I board since I’m assuming they went somewhere up by the Bay Area and I’m in SoCal, but it’s definitely a California boarding barn with pipe panel paddocks.- Anonymous

This had me in bits. Look at all the capsule people at the Taco Takeaway. That white thing isn't their face. It's them eating a prototype taco. :D
I'm laughing so hard imagining the white boxes are the blob-people stuffing tacos in their mouth :D - mariefoxprice83Seasoned HotshotI haven't bought a single kit in Sims 4 but I might be persuaded by these two.
- SimburianSeasoned RookieLooks good to me. Whilst a time away from the Sims I got into watching YouTube videos of Friesian Horses and hope I can create one next month. Beautifully black and shiny and can do riding, dressage and carriage driving. I doubt if they could capture Jasper366's beautiful trot though.
My niece and her husband are Goths from way back and go to Whitby every year to meet their Goth friends there. They dress up too! I hope that the medieval castles pack at last brings circular stairs to the game.
The Calientes mean nothing to me. I get rid of all the pre installed Sims every Save, having had too much of them since 2014!
Landlines are so useful. Mine enables me to complain about mobile phone breakdowns and the reverse for reporting the Landline ones! :D o:) - Rene - meh
TS4 - I'm gonna be upsettispaghetti if they still don't add functioning heart beds and landline phones after this
the kits coming next year good to know but obviously thats next years news so what about this year hmn?
horse glitches were amusing though
hopefully those stay amusing by not being still in the game when it releases  - Project Rene's hair customization attempts look promising! As does most of the Project Rene footage so far. Kind of surprised their showing so much so early, tbh.
EDIT: The horse ranch footage was funny/cute. Assuming no major glitches, it looks like it'll be a sweet pack. - CAPTAIN_NXR7Seasoned VeteranI just happened to be online and watched Behind The Sims. For some reason I thought it was yesterday!
I really appreciate these behind the scene segments. Mersea did a great job. I understand it's aimed at teens, and I don't mind that it's only 15 minutes long, although I believe the BTS previews should happen on a more regular basis. Maybe every 3 months, since we don't get threads dedicated to development on the official forums anymore. I really miss that.- Horseranch: The horse movements look wonderful and I can't wait to find out more about gameplay on July 6th. It says Gameplay trailer, I assume a livestream will follow a week or two after?
- Goth & Medieval Castle kit got the most votes : Great stuff! It's what I had hoped for. I don't mind waiting until next year. I have a selection of massive medieval WIP castles and it will take me until next year to finish all of them anyway. That kit will be the cherry on top...tower....turrets.
- Project Rene: I absolutely love seeing the development and all the research that goes into this. The dynamic lighting looks fantastic, it really affects the mood of the scene and it's something I actually miss in Sims 4 and previous titles. I'm really curious as to how lighting will affect a sim's appearance, for instance, with graphics set to ultra, will we be able to see the reflection of water on a sim's face and body?
I know not everyone will agree, but I'm happy to see the semi cartoonesque appearance of the sims, even at this very, very early stage. I'm looking forward to learn more about their behavior and how they will interact with the environment.

OPEN WORLD prototype? at least open neighborhood - Landline?! Let this be a hint at landlines in the Sims 4, especially with an option to turn off all the gosh awful mobile devices. This would be such a gamechanger!

- RoaringHeightsSeasoned NewcomerI will say though I'm really excited to see more of Rene. I wonder if they'll cover CAS in the next one.
