Making Money is basically the Rags to Riches challenge, canonized. Not even made easier or anything, it seems to be just as easy to access as simply typing in "money 0" into the cheat box. It might actually be more annoying, if that little tab on the top stays on your screen. So? I mean yeah, we get aspiration points for completing it. But those points are already way too easy to get.
The heartbreak scenario might be interesting, but I'd have to see it in action to see if it's worth it. If it's just a prompt I get after my sim has a break-up, then I could just do that myself without needing a prompt. It doesn't sound like it's actually making my sim's life more realistic or adding a new layer. But as I said, it might be more in-depth and involved than Making Money, so it could be fun.
The limited time scenarios bug me too. They sound like they're reskinned challenges, which... There's a reason why most people haven't been clamoring for their return. And I can't help but feel like there's an ulterior motive; like they want people to log in and play them for a couple of hours, so they can go to their investors and say that the game had a huge spike of player engagement.
