The Sims TeamMy impression when reading this post is that the company is extremely tone deaf. I couldn't play and enjoy Sims 4 from July 2024 to about October 2025. There were bugs that ruined the immersion for me. I attempted to play the game from November to January, but soon found other bugs thst made my game UNPLAYABLE! At this point, I do not have any faith or confidence in the game being fixed.
I am now waiting for a new single-player Sims title that does not have an online connection and does not include any multi-player aspects. As a Gen Xer, I have at least purchased the base game of each iteration. My children were actually introduced to the Sims 1 before it was reimulated by EA. With the current trajectory, my impression is that the franchise will be killed by continuing the Sims 4.
