You have 10 Mio active players (twitter doesn't represent even 2% of them) and as in-game pole results implied, they want more drama, depth and action, not just a shiny, but completely empty "safe space".
I second this 100% as lots of simmers do. As much as I love TS4, it does feel more dumbed down and more childish than previous games. I wish slightly more adult-leaning content can be introduced without so many people getting offended.
I know The Sims will never have a higher rating and thats fine, but look at TS2 - rated teen but much more racy, it's that kind of "spark" we want back.
