Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.108.349.1220 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? ALL Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Control a toddler and ask their parent to "Ask to read book". The bug happens even when both are standing already together and there is enough space around them. It happens while standing and also if the parent sits down. It happens also when both have full maxed needs and there are no other interactions queued. What happens when the bug occurs? The parent takes out a toddler book, (sometimes sits down on a chair if one is closeby) waits a few seconds, and then cancels the "read to child" interaction. Toddler has the "Listen to story" interaction queued which then gets cancelled too. None of both have other new interactions queued in that moment when the parent cancels. Note that this happens if I control the toddler and queue the interaction to the parent, and also if a toddler queues it autonomously. In both versions it cancels. It does cancel more rarely, if I control the Parent instead and start the interaction from them. What do you expect to see? That the parent reads the book to the toddler. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I tried this with 8 toddler parent pairs in different households with different skills, non-occults and occults, different moodlets / no moodles, and all tests were without mods and with localthumb deleted. The interaction always canceled when the Toddler asks the parent to read a book, and it sometimes also cancels if it is the other way around and the parent queues the "read toddler book", but works more often that way around. Sometimes I used the same seat location to ask from the parent side and it worked, but then asked from the toddler side and it cancelled. Research Genealogy What happens when the bug occurs? I have heard researching genealogy will make a new relative call a few days later. I have had different sims and households research genealogy every day for 3 sims weeks, and never get anything. What do you expect to see? I expect to see a phone call from a found relative. Move into a residential rental as a tenant and wait for rent and bills and check rent amount charged against unit rent given when you move into the lot What happens when the bug occurs? I'm either only charged bills and no rent or charged rent that is clearly too low, e.g. under 100 simoleons when the rent per day is 300. What do you expect to see? I expect to be charged 7x the daily rent at the end of a week. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I've played through about a week and a half to test this without mods and have not been charged any rent. I moved in on a Thursday and waited through two Mondays since I wasn't sure when rent would be charged the first time but after a week and a half I should definitely have had to pay rent (I didn't pay the bills either but those seem to work at least). The tenant grace period also doesn't work, but I've only ever seen that work once. The rent used to work semi consistently, but has been way too low for a few months now. It varies from no rent at all to about two days worth of rent per week and there doesn't seem to be a difference between moving a household through the world menu or in game or whether I've just started a save or have been playing in it for a while. Play Rico Sterling family in Evergreen and try to travel with more than 2 Sims. However, I’ve noticed if I exit and restart the game the problem resolved momentarily and then returned. I should not have to exit and restart my game every time this occurs. What happens when the bug occurs? I’m unable to form more than 2 in a group or add more than 2 in a group to travel. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have a spellcaster use scruberoo on dirty cows and dogs What happens when the bug occurs? the spellcaster casts the scruberoo spell, it succeeds but the pet doesn't become clean. No So i have been playing with the horse ranch expansion, and on my lot i have horses, cows, chickens, goats, sheep, a dog, and a cat. I have my spellcaster sim recently learn the scruberoo spell and i've tried using it on my cow but most of the time it doesn't actually work, my sim does the spell, the spell succeeds and the cow has a spark of magic but they don't get clean. The first door leads to the shared staircase, and the second door leads to the backyard, which is not assigned to any household. 3. The creator/landlord cannot set the front door. I want the door to the staircase to be the front door, but it cannot be set when building the house. 4. When playing: A sim wants to visit the apartment with 2 doors, and cannot knock on the door at the shared staircase but only the one that leads to the backyard. What happens when the bug occurs? The change to set the door at the staircase as a front door does not apply. I tried to switch to playing with the household that lives in the apartment and resetting the front door, which was possible. I saved the game and continued to play with the landlord as I originally wanted to, but the change did not apply. Yesterday, I changed the front door in my own apartment which has the same layout as the apartment above. The change worked, but today the front door is again the door towards backyard. EDIT: I have tried to change the front door multiple times and it works until I visit somewhere else. When I return home, the change has been removed/cancelled. What do you expect to see? The front door can be set towards shared space instead of only outside when there are these 2 options. 1. In the build mode, it can be set which is the front door, OR 2. All of them Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1.Go to any world at night when the moon is not new or full and look at sky, you'll see the stars overlapping the moon. 2.Go to any other world except Granite Falls, Forgotten Hollow, Chestnut Ridge, Glimmerbrook and the Magic Realm to see that the moon is lower quality compared to the worlds mentioned. What happens when the bug occurs? Stars taking over the moon when is cycling through lunar phases (except new and full) and lower moon textures. What do you expect to see? I expect to see the moons of either Forgotten Hollow or Granite Falls/Glimmerbrook/Chestnut Ridge for all the other worlds or at least have a moon with better texture quality, and as a solid object. Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. The pre-werewolves/lunar phases patch. Even after the 1.99 patch, the moon texture didn't change for all worlds except Granite Falls, Forgotten Hollow, Chestnut Ridge, Glimmerbrook and the Magic Realm. I've attached some screenshot of the Glimmerbrook moon VS. the standard moon that you can find in almost all other worlds and also the fact that is not a solid object and stars go through it (happens with all moons). Product - Sims 4 Platform - Xbox S series (6 months old). Language - English How often does bug occur - Always Packs owned: All Expansion, game, and stuff packs including all kits. How to find bug: Take a picture with phone or camera, look in inventory What happens when bug occurs- all photos go Black and paintings go White. This occurs if on the walls or in inventory. Doesn’t matter which sim is taking the camera. Once the photos taken by tripod lasted in the inventory for about five minutes then when black. Pictures taken with just camera and photo went black instantly. Paintings were fine when placed on wall at first but went white the next time played. what do you expect - photos and paintings to remain. Mods - on console so no mods When bug first occured - After Oct 31, 2023 update. All photos and paintings in inventory or on walls have been black or white since. A few days ago all of my photos were black, so I deleted that save and went into that last save I had of that game when the photos were normal. This has never happened before even a few of my paintings were black. I recently purchased the city life expansion pack. But, after I went back everything seemed fine but whenever my male sims takes photos they’re all black, and a few when my female sim takes photos turn black. Very minor -(in the masculine child's CAS) noticed that the Island Living formal skirt causes half of the bowtie on the Seasons cardigan shirt combo to change colour, on all swatches of both items. The only option available is "uproot plant." What do you expect to see? All tending options to be unavailable, but non-tending options to be available. Ex. weed, water, etc should be unavailable. I believe I first noticed this issue after Patch 160 (1.107.112.1030) when they "fixed" a weeding loop bug by simply disabling interactions for out-of-season plants. This is especially irritating when you have plants that can be evolved, but you can't actually evolve them until they're in season again. Meaning they'll sit there and sparkle for a sim year until you can finally evolve them. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When playing in Evergreen Harbor, I have an apartment in Conifer Station at Pinecrest Apartments. I own the apartment on the left. When looking at the apartment in the background, you can see Z-Fighting on one of the patios. What happens when the bug occurs? The bug only occurs at certain zoom levels, Such as when zoomed in on my sim I can see the Z-Fighting in the back. The two textures that are fighting are the patio texture on the lowest level and the pavement. (look at attached pictures and video) What do you expect to see?
