What happens when the bug occurs? Right after today's update, my Sims are suddenly incessantly insulting each other autonomously. They are a family that are all good friends, no mischief traits or skills, no previous issues whatsoever. I've never had a sim insult anyone autonomously, and now it happens several times per minute of play. What do you expect to see? No autonomous insulting. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? [FIXED] [S] Holidays Only Appearing for Three Sims in Household

Go into any household that has four or more Sims. Schedule a holiday for the following day, then fast forward to 6am when the holiday is meant to start. What happens when the bug occurs? Only three Sims in the household will receive the holiday pop-up box in the top left hand corner, with the holiday traditions. Any other Sims in the household will not. What do you expect to see? All Sims in the household should receive the pop-up box, and should therefore all be able to participate in the holiday. The October 31st 2023 patch update Holidays are a crucial part of my gameplay and I’m devastated that half of my household now can’t participate in them. EDIT: I have modified the title and the post to rectify this only happening to the ‘oldest’ three Sims, as this issue seems to be affecting Sims of all ages. It’s clear though that the same Sims are affected each holiday. EDIT 2 (5th Nov 23): Thank you to @JonaO703 for discovering a pattern in this bug - it seems to be that in households where only 3 Sims receive the holiday box, it is the first 3 in Create-A-Sim. The order of Sims in a household can be different in Create-A-Sim than it is in Live Mode, which could explain why it’s not always the oldest Sims who get the holidays. I urge everyone to check the order of their household in the Create-A-Sim menu and to let me know if this is the case for you! EDIT 3 (15th Nov 23): Thank you to @Haylianna for letting me know that the order of Sims in Create-A-Sim can change, so it may not necessarily be the same Sims affected by the bug each time! EDIT 4 (4th Feb 24): I’ve just seen the Sims Direct Communications tweet that this bug will apparently be fixed in the next bug patch. Safe to say, I am very disappointed that it’s taken over 3 months to fix something that has rendered the holidays aspect of Seasons completely useless. Thank you to everyone who’s given their support to this thread, and I can only hope they will actually fix this properly and not break something else by doing so. [FIXED] Face Bug Eyes and mouth

All packs except Batuu Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Download any sims from the gallery into CAS. All previously created sims in Save files are effected as well What happens when the bug occurs? All previously created sims have a face bug. The eyes and mouth look weird. The eyes look mishappen and the pupils are really big. The mouth has a weird underbite to it. Even resetting the face with new eye presets doesn't fix the problem. This only affect previously created sims. If you create a new sim the bug doesn't occur. What do you expect to see? My Sims faces to be normal Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. I complete everything until it comes to finishing the gig and receiving payment. There is notification that the work has been accepted but no payment, and the gig does not end. This is more frustrating when it is also taking an immense amount of time to get the work accepted. What do you expect to see? Previously, the work is accepted; there is the notification of work being accepted as well a second notification from the client expressing gratitude. Then my sims gets paid and the gig ends. I switched to play household 2 for less than a minute while the original household was on the lot and then switched back to the original household while still on household 2's lot. What happens when the bug occurs? Future Cubes spawn in the active household's inventory. The moment Sims are done with one task (usually "Practice Programming" unless all computers are removed from the lot), they immediately check their Future Cube. However, a new cube spawns each time a Sim does this. What do you expect to see? I expect to see no Future Cubes being spawned, active Sims not checking Future Cubes after every action, and for adult Sims to want to do something other than "Practice Programming." I came back to find everyone in both households playing with Future Cubes. Future Cubes spawn in the active household's inventory. The moment Sims are done with one task, they immediately check their Future Cube. However, a new cube spawns each time a Sim does this. Sometimes they'll check a Future Cube and when they are done, it won't be in their inventory. When the original household returned to their lot, adults only wanted to "Practice Programming." They will stop their current action to go to a computer to "Practice Programming." I removed the computers on the lot and the Sims won't do anything else autonomously - other than check their Future Cubes. It had me giggling. So the Doctor Sim takes the Patient to the surgery table and the sim flips around out of the table, through the doctor sim. As my surgery table is close to a wall, my patient sims end up through walls. As the patient does this, the Doctor sim stands in a T pose as if it's resetting. Also, patient sim gets up out of surgery table to dislike decor. What do you expect to see? I expect the patient to stay in the surgery table until the doctor has completed surgery. What happens when the bug occurs? Autonomous excessive meal preparation and no attempts to eat cooked food. What do you expect to see? A sim autonomously takes food it has prepared and eats it, and doesn't proceed to make 5 more meals instead. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? The problem is excessive food preparation. Sims that I cannot control will cook and cook and cook and never autonomously eat, so they stay hungry forever, which makes them want to cook some more. Sims that I can control will attempt to enter this loop but obviously I can stop them and ask them to eat, which they can do once asked. Edit: This bug happens with microwaveable quick meals too but non-micowaveable quick meals are unaffected and can be eaten. This bug may also be related to/be the same thing as the bug in another thread about not attempting to eat leftovers. Now, I checked Yes for mods but note I do not have any script mods, just stuff like custom accessories. There wasn't even any custom furniture placed on the lot. If nobody else has this issue I will try playing without my fancy glasses installed as a final attempt to fix but I really doubt it's the problem. I have tried repairing and deleting my localthumbcache before booting it back up again but nothing was fixed. This is a minor problem and I am enjoying the update so far. Just makes visiting other sims very annoying. Edit notes: Cleaned up a bit. Removed this: "I also had an issue where visitors to my apartment would keep getting water/juice/milk out of the fridge and drink it over and over again, but it might not be the same problem as they are managing to actually drink it if I don't stop them. Interactions cancel automatically, for example: Sims wont eat a whole meal Showers will end early or say there completed but it wont fill the need bar all the way up If you set tasks such as play computer games or write a book, do a university term paper, paint and much more they will do these for a very short time then cancel out autonomously Happens with and without NAP active What do you expect to see? When you put dirty washing into the machine, there is no option to wash (Not even greyed out) but you have the options to unload and move... and unload and set down as the clothing is clean and dry. When you unload to washing line or set down, the clothing then shows as used and dry. What do you expect to see? Entire acting career appears to be COMPLETELY borked. Have not tested with other careers yet. Completed prep tasks will no longer remain completed if traveling to another location. Traveled to another location and task was no longer completed. In fact, my entire job panel was empty, like I wasn't even in a career. Tried re-joining the acting career but it wasn't listed. (Still in the career?) Cancelled the gig using the phone and the career panel re-appeared. Attempted to take another gig. Tried 4 out of the 7 available gigs, 3 of them wouldn't do anything. One did. Completed 1 of the 3 prep tasks and then traveled to another location, the one completed task was no longer completed. Acting career no longer viable. Clicking to remove all face details at once does nothing (except create an error) and he has a hidden clone skin detail in the scars category What do you expect to see? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. 1.88 I noticed the new skin detail in CAS which applies forehead wrinkles + crows feet at the same time, and I assumed it would be because of the new Mortimer design. However, rather than actually use this new detail, Mortimer is wearing the regular crows feet and forehead wrinkles. But, because these occupy the same slot, the crows feet have been cloned to (and hidden in) the scars section. Clicking to remove all Face modifications at once results in no change + a LUIE is generated. This is true of all Sims, though, so I can separate it into another thread if needed? I couldn't find one existing. I believe that Mortimer should be re-fixed to use the new combination skin detail, rather than this strange clone detail. Clicking the above does not remove any skin details at all, and generates the error file attached. The above shows that a scar detail is in use, proving that the cloned crows feet are in there. I believe that this was on oversight or a remnant of testing the new Mortimer, and that he is intended to use the new skin detail shown above. Have a sim in the Acting career. Take a gig. Travel to another location. What happens when the bug occurs? Gig is assigned a date/time. That date/time will come and go and never get the option to go to the gig. What do you expect to see? Sim actually goes to the gig. Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. Update patch to version 1.62.67.1020 Sims no longer go to the acting gigs at all. The notification "Sim has work in 1 hour" never appears. Appointed date/time of the gig comes and goes, nothing happens. Cancelled the gig three times and it never happens. Tried with and without mods, tried changing acting companies. Problem occurs when the sim takes a gig and travels to another location. After traveling, the date/time of the gig will come and go and you'll never get the option to go.
