Grow a plant? What happens when the bug occurs? The plants are functional but look out of season ( dead) What do you expect to see? It fixed. Plants should look vibrant and not dead while in season! Neutral/Not Sure So since the new expansion pack cotton living I experience that all my plants look dead. Although they are functional due to the right season... they do not display as such. The new plants that come with cottage living do not have this problem. They all look healthy and in season. I have no idea. More people seem to have this very problem. What happens when the bug occurs? The bug happens every time a student needs to take his/her final exam. They go to college on the last day of school, but when they come back they didn't do their finals. They will get a low grade and fail their semester. What do you expect to see? I espect to see my sims pass their finals, by going to college and actually doing their finals. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. In the Club's tab when i click on the sim im currently playing, it appears to open the new sim profile, when i click on it a blank window appears, then i choose another sim to open the profile and starts a music, then the profile window doesn't show or work anymore and the game creates a crash file. (Gotta try few times for the profile window to be broken and not showing) What happens when the bug occurs? The new sentiments profile window stops working. What do you expect to see? I expect to see a full working profile window to view the new sentiments on the sim i'm currently playing or not having the option appear on the sim's Club tab. When placing windows on diagonal walls, thin hairline cracks appear. I've tried with different windows and with wallpaper, but the cracks are still there. This is the first time I've noticed this. What do you expect to see? No hairline cracks. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I've tried the Antialiasing fix on the Nvidia Profile Inspector, but it didn't help. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hire a Ranch hand and play with him What happens when the bug occurs? The ranch hand hangs around for the entire shift without doing anything, even though there are dirty/hungry animals. What do you expect to see? To have the ranch hand do his job when he is there, i.e he should not be leaving animals in distress to their own devices and should ensure clean beds, full troughs, etc. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Neutral/Not Sure My ranch hand pitches for work and leaves on time, but does basically nothing throughout the shift, other than hang around in my house. Cook a dish and put it in the fridge What happens when the bug occurs? The sim cooked a dish and put it in the fridge. However, the timer on when the food spoils does not change to the longer timer it is supposed to have when a dish is placed in the fridge. What do you expect to see? In the screenshot below you can see a dish that my sim made moments ago, but it spoils in eight hours. I did try to see if the bug also occurred on a fresh save. So I made a new save and had my sim cook a dish and put it in the fridge, and here everything just worked fine. So, I do not know why it did not work on the other save. When enrolled, the sim gets the knitting skill even though they can't do anything with it without the pack. What do you expect to see? My residential house seems to be partially registering as a residential rental. I own the house, and I have no landlord, but my mailbox is showing an option to "give notice to move", and when my bills arrive I get the 24hrs to pay rent pop-up, and now on Harvestfest I'm not able to put up decorations because it's saying I don't own the lot. No This is the house that was originally on Hothotok Shore, I moved it to 1 Tam Nang Sands because I wanted the bigger lot to be able to add a pool. The lot (1 Tam Nang) was previously classed as a residential rental, but I changed it when I moved this house over and did some construction - it has never been classed as a rental since then. The family purchased it normally with no real estate cheats, and moved from a residential (not rental) house in the other neighbourhood in Tomarang. Ever since then, this house is still showing as a residential, and my bill information says nothing about a tenant agreement or rent, but the mailbox always has an option for "give notice in writing" and now I can't decorate because I apparently don't own the house? It's clearly not fully registering as either a rental or a residential, and it's very frustrating. I'm having issues moving out of this house and keeping my inventory (other thread here) so I'm wondering if that's what's going wrong? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. Installed Horse Ranch I can't get gates or doors to lock out animals since installing Horse Ranch. I removed mods before installing Horse Ranch and did not use them while this problem occurred. Locking gates and doors does not stop animals from using gates. This problem happens when I select each animal to lock out, and also when I select "all pets." This occurs with multiple gates including the "paddock gate," "stable stall door," and "prison door gate." This also occurs with buildings and doors. I don't know if this extends to human sims. Light from fireplace is emitting from behind the fireplace/ no light emits from the fireplace when lit during live mode What do you expect to see? The light show project from the front of the object. Neutral/Not Sure I quickly went through and tested the other fireplaces to discover that the Curiously Constructed Fireplace (Paranormal Stuff) is also behaving this way. This bug exists in my game since then. Hadn't updated to the november patch since last week and then i noticed the bug. What happens when the bug occurs? Not only can we not toggle fame options but my existing sim, allready famous and on the treshold of B-Star isn't gaining any fame. The progress bar is not moving forward anymore. November 10 patch but only noticed it last week because i patched the game last week. At first i thouht it was because of the not toggle fame bug. I did the following to try to repair it: I removed all my mods and deleted the localthumb package. Restarted the game. Played for 24 sim hours. Bug still there. I tried an older save. Did not help. Yesterday i repaired the game (unfortunately it updated to the latest patch when i did the game repair) and tested for 24 simhours trying everything that would add fame. No luck. The progress bar is not moving. At his point i don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to lose my save again for the umpteenth time and start a new game. [FIXED] [CoL] Growth fertilizers are not consumed and have no effect on crops

Obtain Hyper Growth Fertilizer or Minor Growth Fertilizer either through normal Cottage Living gameplay or direct from Debug Build/Buy. Attempt to use it to fertilize growing oversized crops. What happens when the bug occurs? The can of fertilizer will pop back into your inventory without being consumed and the plants will not be fertilized (they don't have the swirling glow indicating that they've been fertilized). What do you expect to see? The fertilizer should be consumed on use, just like all the other types of fertilizer are, and they should have some kind of effect as described on your plants, i.e. they boost growth chances for larger crops. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No As far as I can tell, it's been like this since the launch of Cottage Living. When I examined the tuning files for the fertilize action, there are effects outcomes described for every type of fertilizer except for the Minor Growth and Hyper Growth. There's nothing listed for them at all, which is why the game ignores them because it can't find what it's supposed to do and they don't have any function at all. It's almost like they were missed out as an oversight? If anyone on PC/Mac is ok with mods, I've put up a fix for this on my mod site, which you can find linked in the pinned suggested game fixing mods thread. Since there's no info about them in the tuning files, I tried to guess what they should do based on their catalogue description and made them incrementally boost the chance of growing large size/weight crops when used. This is because the other fertilizers are vitality (increase quality and health), grow fast (increase crop speed of growth) and hassle-free (reduce need for maintenance). [FIXED] Aloe Vera Plant Missing Tags - Shows in BB Under Search

In BB Just press the search magnify icon and scroll right to the bottom (here you will find all items missing a tag) - This post is for the Aloe Vera Plant in particular What happens when the bug occurs? The aloe vera plant is technically a BB item, but it is missing the tags needed for it to show under a specific category (it is not a debug plant) What do you expect to see? This aloe vera plant should be in the landscaping plant category Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open Maya or any animation program, then animate the lids bones lower or whatever, then check how it translates in the game. Or you can also just check that the sims when they watch things lower, their eyes go inside the eyelid and it looks creepy in the game (you can see on screenshots I shared below) What happens when the bug occurs? Eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game. It seems that since the eyelashes were introduced, the eyelids doesn't animate as they should. What do you expect to see? Eyelids animating/posing correctly as it used to be. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, but even without any mods (no CCs, no scripts, nothing) the bug still happen, even after the cache deleted. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? It happens since the patch that intoduced the base game eyelashes. This bug isn't fixed. I am a modder and an animator and it seems that the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game like it used to be since this bug was introduced, and it's still there with the new patch. When the sim looks downside, the bottom eyelids don't move at all, making sims looks creepy (the eyes go inside the eyelid). I did some animations with the eyelids moving down while the eyes are looking down, and the animation from the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game at all. fix those bones or whatever that doesn't work correctly in the game : b__R_LoLid__ b__R_UpLid__ b__L_UpLid__ b__L_LoLid__ This is an example using CAS, where the eyes aren't closing completely due to the eyelids animations not translating correctly in the game. Before the eyelashes patch, they were closing just fine. For this test, I did a simple sleeping pose I will use to demonstrate the bug, because unfortunately it's the only way to explain the issue more properly, by comparing in an animating program and then how it translates in the game. To achieve this result in the game with the eyes being closed like this : In a posing/animating program, I had to do this : There is clearly an error of how the eyelids translate in the game since the lovestruck patch. I'd like to know if maxis is aware of this issue and if they will fix this, as it affect every animations in the game. If I'm closing the eyes as usual in the program, this is the result I get in the game : And no, it's not the program fault. This happens since the lovestruck patch and again, it affects all the animations from the game, even the vanilla ones. I believe a data from the eyelids or something similar has been touched and it needs to be reverted back. [FIXED] [CoL] Duplicate Swatch of Garden Party Wainscotting Wallpaper
Product: The Sims 4 Platform:PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.109.207.1020 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them except Werewolves and Modern Menswear. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into Build/Buy, select the Garden Party Wallpaper from Cottage Living and go through all of the swatches; you'll find that two of the swatches are identical, they also have identical thumbnails. What happens when the bug occurs? There are two copies of the same wallpaper swatch. What do you expect to see? Preferably the duplicate replaced with the same wallpaper top (bunnies, mushrooms etc with a cream/white background) but with white panelling on the bottom! Or just the duplicate removed. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No I noticed this during gameplay and checked out the wallpaper in detail in an external program afterwards and both swatches are identical. I've tried to show this below with some in-game pictures by selecting the two affected swatches' thumbnails separately and placing both swatches side by side for comparison; hopefully you can understand what I mean! The relevant swatches are Garden Party Wainscotting 0000000000041F09 EP11_Cottage Living and Garden Party Wainscotting 0000000000041F15 EP11_Cottage Living. [FIXED] Reaper's Rewards: Buckled boots not available for female Sims

Earn enough points in the Reaper's Rewards event to unlock the buckled boots. What happens when the bug occurs? They are not available for female framed Sims (only after removing the filter, but then they distort the Sim's feet). What do you expect to see? The boots available for all Sims. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I was very sad to see that the new boots don't really work for my Sim, because she's female.
