I am getting the "origin needs to download files and is waiting for your permission" with the Sims 4, I have a Mac and was told by an agent on the live chat before purchasing that Sims 4 would be compatible so I don't know why I'm getting this error message.

In System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access does Origin have a check mark next to it? Hi!
So I am also having the same problem. I’ve already tried to make a new user account and that didn’t work. So I went to check to see if it had full disk access but I don’t have that under my privacy settings. Is there any other ideas you may have?
My game was running fine before Origin and Sims updated early December.

Hii does anyone know how to fix this on a MAC? Everything worked fine before this newest update. I literally just got a new computer so I can play again. I got to play for a week before everything went to *. I’ve been trying to fix this for the past month. I’m angggy

How to take screenshots - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201361 Lmao I didn’t realize my posts we’re being posted to the same place I thought I was on different threads. Anyways I’m babysitting so I can’t get on my computer for awhile but it is the same “origin needs to download files and is waiting for your permission" message and nothing comes up to give it permission. I’ve tried everything I’ve already seen on this thread.

I created a new account, tried the reset origin tool
tried the diagnostic tool but nothing worked
and I gave to Origin the full disk access
but when I downloaded origin they asked me to download a helper and every time I click to download it doesn't work and then one time I clicked it and origin opened and since from here iv been having the same problem - @Bluebellflora when i download the helper they ask me to download it and I click yes
but then the same window appear again
so I click always on yes until the app opens
but when I try to download they give me the same message of asking for permission
