Origin is stuck in offline mode. I've tried restarting my computer, closing Origin through several different methods and opening it agian, and doing everything I can to get it online but Origin is always stuck offline. Also for some reason it doesn't even display the normal Origin menu, instead the entire screen is just a white screen with the words "Well, that didn't go as planned. Origin encountered an issue loading this page. Please try reloading it – if that doesn’t work, restart the client or try again later." on it. I can't get it to work and can't access any of my games like this.

Sorry to see that your Origin is not working @bella941, the best thing to try in this situation is to start by clearing your Origin cache.

You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:

Completely log out and close down Origin

Hold down the Windows key and R

Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK

Now open the Origin folder.

Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)

Hold down the Windows key and R

Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK

This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder

Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window

Open the Local folder here

Delete the Origin folder listed here

Restart your PC and log back into Origin

@EA_Darko Im also having this problem. I have tried every tip I have found online and none of them works (including the one above). Im starting to get really frustrated.... Just bought It takes two and I cant even play it with a friend, because of this offline problem.

It's an EA service issue. We literally can't play Battlefront II for days, interestingly none other platforms/games have these issues what Origin always does! The admins always post the same "how to fix it" solutions, and they literally never work. I found the solution though: simply remove Origin from your PC and never install it again.

Hello, for me it didn't work, I have the latest Origin version and Windows 10 latest version too.
I can't play any game, it's not only a matter of the chat.

This may work for you, and this is the everything else has failed fix, as it's a work around.
For almost a year I couldn't log into Origin. I had this installed many times on the same laptop with different HD's. Origin doesn't seem able to clean up something on the communications side and the traffic is routing out of windows incorrectly due to it. Now that being said a fresh install of windows 10 or perhaps the upgrade to 11 would fix it permanently without a work around.
1. Download and install https://www.telerik.com/download/fiddler. This is a web traffic sniffer, which I planed to use to find where the communication was failing between Origin and the web. However, something better occurred.
2. Run Fiddler
3. Run Origin and if your problem was the same as mine with tunnel building with origin, Fiddler will allow the session to flow properly and Origin should be working.
4. Fiddler must stay active to maintain the tunnel, at least that's what I found in testing.
