The reason stated for all the change is that Adobe Flash and Oracle Java are not going to be supported any longer by Adobe and Oracle. Some web browsers have already stop supporting them. So, EA/Pogo is revamping Pogo into an HTML5/HD gaming site.

Things that are not going to be on the New Pogo Experience is.....

Tokens. But a new rewards system is on its way. Called pogis.

Minis/mini mall. No more items will be placed in the mini mall, but your mini and items that you purchased will left on classic pogo, for the time being.

Chat at the moment, it is in the works to come out this year during phase 3. Right now they are in phase 2.

Flash games are retiring on March 10 2020 along with some Java games. So, they will of course not be on the new site.

There are different recommendation on systems and so forth for the HTML5/HD games.
