Re: megalopolis city without fun?

I love this post and created an account just so I could respond, I couldn't agree more that more options are needed, entertainment, store

I was thinking about things about gameplay that I find frustrating also...

With all the "Platinum Key" upgrades....I'd like to see the game add some Platinum Key Museums under the Education tab.  In older versions of the game, Museums fell under education....and having the chance for high epic point buildings under the education tab other than just having a bunch of Universities all throughout the city would be nice...the Lourve would fit nicely in Paris, the Gougenheim, with the Empire State building....and so on.  This isn't just an Entertainment issue, although I notice that "Zoo" and maybe even "Planetarium" are missing from the Entertainment ideas which I'd also like to see, but....

Also....if you consider what I assume that EA values Platinum keys over Gold Keys...and how many Platinum keys are necessary to purchase the bigger ticket items from the Platinum Key menu, I think the epic point values assigned to those buildings should be either 4, or maybe even 5 epic points.  If you have to pay 35 Gold Keys to get the Statue of LIberty for 3 epic points, I just don't see how 50 Platinum Keys for the Sears Tower is also a 3 point epic building.

Just my two cents.  I like your ideas as well.

    I forgot "Aquarium" also.

They already have an aquarium by the beach.  I would buy it but its the most ugliest looking aquarium I've seen. Literally a giant squid on top. The observatory doesn't look too bad. They need items which are purely for fun not population gain or points. I would love to see gas stations, supermarkets, billboards,   lakes, rivers.

Well, the aquarium is not the most elegant creation, but the "ugliest thing contest" winner is the awful Easter Bunny with close second as the creepy Valentine Teddy -- ughhhhh... some players actually bought them for their cities, and every time I meet those monsters, I shiver!

    🙂

Oh yes how could I forget those bunny parks lol and those valentine's day teddies. It's nice to get all festive but they really could put in a lot of effort, its embarassing. The other ugly specialization they have is the mountain palace just lots and lots of generic squares as windows. It reminds me of the houses I would draw when I was little.
