I'm highly upset. Upgrade 2.0 Now, I'm out of money for any more upgrades when my cities were perfectly fine. This is the 3rd time I get on this forum to complain. I have barely any space for new service stations or any money left over after just upgrading one city and I have 5 in total. It's totally ludicrous. I don't want to play anymore. You took the joy out of the game with new bs. I can go on ranting because I have so much to say. I've spent so much money on this game and from now on, I will not spend any more. It's been a good run, but that's exactly what I'm going to do now is run. Oh, by the way. Did I mention I was upset?! A game should not upset anyone. This is the worst idea yet.11Views0likes0CommentsThis update is truly devastating
This update is truly devastating. My city, which originally had 934,000 inhabitants in the capital, had to go down, and now it's down to 600, not to mention the costs involved It's so much, my simoleons, which were originally 3 million simoleons, are now down to 0 simoleons. After the 2.0 service update. Not to mention that all my regions are experiencing the same thing as what happened in the capital, not to mention when we play offline, and go online all the progress I made when playing offline all disappears, There is always a notification that all progress made offline is not synchronized with the existing server, please help the developers and team, give us all compensation for the madness and The chaos of this 2.0 service is that each player is given 5 million simoleons, especially for players who have played the game for more than a year. Honestly, I've played and spent time so much in this game And also as a form of providing convenience for old players to stabilize all the chaos that occurred due to the existence of this 2.0 service.jihanihza51 hour agoSeasoned Newcomer11Views1like0Comments- Malice041 hour agoRising Traveler2Views0likes0Comments
Please restore the service to its messy state.
User complaints about SimCityBuildit Service 2.0 Disappointment with Service 2.0 I am a long-time user of SimCity Buildit. This service 2.0 is very disappointing. Requests for relocation and complaints Electricity, water, sewage, garbage, fire, police, and health departments already purchased and deployed roads, including building placement areas and facilities, all new facilities must be deployed. It's already difficult to collect Simulleons and local Simulleons, but this patch has made it even harder. Bringing in Simulleon doesn't increase the area of the fire station, nor does it have any benefits. The area in the provinces is so small that all the buildings are full, leaving no more places to place them. Put it back. The essence of the game and the possibility of departure. Unlike other games, SimCity Buildit doesn't have a competitive atmosphere, so it's a healing game, and I don't want to be stressed out by this patch. As a user who has loved SimCity Buildit for a long time, I am considering giving up if the patch changes are not made.simsu122 hours agoNewcomer77Views5likes1CommentYears of building destroyed by 2.0 update today
I’m too overwhelmed to try to rebuild any of this. Most buildings are now red and hard to move with reboot needed every few minutes due to the pink and black freeze when touching area of capital city. Omega building cost omega tokens I don’t have and cant afford to buy. Even if I was rich, I can’t figure this nonesense out to fix it. I just paid for mayors pass. Wow! please do not ask me to submit pics and play with my IOS ipad function. This is You, not anything on my side. After a year of freezes every few minutes, spend some bucks to expand and Update your servers so we stop getting kicked off and have to reboot. I’m soooo disgusted with EA service and now this buzz killer is thrust upon us. SHAME!dlwtliwglovq3 hours agoRising Traveler128Views9likes4CommentsStop overcontrolling us!
As title says, Stop overcontrolling and siphoning players. Forced road upgrades every time I log in Roads tear up while im offline, forcing me to 'Renovate' buildings I Prefer to decide what type of roads I want in my city I dont prefer to spend $$$ every time I log in, and for an 'upgrade' I dont even want I dont prefer to spend resourches on 'fixing' things that are not supposed to be broken Whats ur problem?4cfglj30kriz3 hours agoNewcomer115Views6likes6CommentsServices 2.0 is awful
The new service 2.0 is a waste of money and effort there’s was nothing wrong with how the services were yall tryna fix something tha ain’t broken, how we suppose to make money when there isn’t even space to add new residents and why make us adds service that we still have to upgrade to use it that defeats the whole point of this whole service system and making it more confusing and difficult, I’m playing this game for 10 years and this is literally the first unnecessary feature yall have addedkra0w0qccu6g5 hours agoNewcomer52Views2likes1CommentRailway Track Bridge Bug
Hi. I accidentally delete the railway track over one of the native railway bridges in Frosty Fjords. The game won’t let me rebuild it, I believe it’s a known bug. Anyone know a work around? I’ve tried reinstalling the game and deleting everything around the bridge, any other ideas or experiences with issue? IOS Apple. Thanks13Views0likes0Commentsunable to log into store

I have no idea what to do now... any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Solved4Tigertye8 hours agoSeasoned Vanguard199Views0likes11CommentsDrone view of train crashes game when arriving at station
When a viewing my train in drone view (by clicking on a train, not the train station), the game crashes and closes every time the train arrives at a station. This must be a fairly new bug since last time I used the drone view a while ago, this didn't happen. Does anyone else experience this bug?duderville9 hours agoNew Hotshot6Views1like0CommentsOther suggestions
It's not easy to build a railway in an already established city. Please allow the railway to run on the road, or build a bridge over a lake or pond so that the railway can run. Service 2.0: Do not waste unnecessary money or time with patches. There is a shortage of government offices, landmarks, and buildings. There are no Korean buildings. Please refer to this suggestion and build a building accordingly.simsu129 hours agoNewcomer19Views0likes0CommentsTrain Bug
/Yesterday, my train tracks that run parallel to the mountains on my Capital city have been diverted into the mountains. I was able to delete these tracks but I cannot put the tracks back in the proper location without it doing the same thing. This is after I installed an update from the Google play store. Is this happening to anyone else?MJKx5480879 hours agoRising Novice118Views2likes3Comments- nm2loqq4j8mm11 hours agoNewcomer10Views0likes1Comment
Contest of Mayors season reduced to 3 weeks
Looks like the Contest of Mayors is now 3 weeks, instead of 4 weeks. Wow! 13 seasons in one year previously, now 17 seasons per year. Fantastic marketing from someone who should be watched closely. If my premium pass will only last for 3 weeks, I’ll quit getting the premium pass. The result will be a loss of 13 premium pass events, not a gain of 4! Hey, here is a fantastic marketing idea! Cut the season to 2 weeks! Now you have 26 seasons. Don’t bother to change anything. Then try to justify the move when overall participation drops 50% or more! I have participated in 63 contests, 155 contest rank. I would state with confidence that 63 is the entire history of the contest of Mayors. I have purchased the Premium Pass on each, almost like a monthly subscription. The timing for moving to a 3 week cycle is interesting. I noticed during the last season how dull the whole contest has become. However, I completed it up to tier 40 or so. This time I really don’t have a lot of interest. I allowed myself to slide down to the City league for the first time. This season will be the first time I haven’t completed the 38th tier. Reduce the season time frame and leave the old tired game the same. This would explain why the participation is slipping. I am not sure how long I have played this game, 10+ years. I have seen some improvements and I’ve seen changes I wasn’t interested in: Wars-Not a fan. Limited inventory storage didn’t allow stockpiling additional items and still be competitive in Contest of Mayors-Had to be in an Alliance and other games available Monsters- Not a fan. Limited inventory storage didn’t allow stockpiling additional items and still be competitive in Contest of Mayors. Design Challenge-I enjoy this, however it is also neglected. Same designs roll over and over, and often miss a normal holiday by a week. Rewards seem to be less desirable. Railroads-BORING! TOTALLY BORING!! Way too much effort required for an incredibly minuscule, stingy return. I play a Train specific game and I can watch the trains move and upgrade them in a straight forward manner. The train upgrade in SimCity is a convoluted nightmare! Even then, it’s pointless because the station is limited in max passengers. I was never hesitant to spend actual money on the game. It’s been a long time since there is anything worth spending money to gain. Has that idea crossed anyone’s mind? The problem is not that established players don’t spend money. The problem is established players don’t have anything worth spending money for!njkh871zmp2p13 hours agoSeasoned Rookie521Views12likes17CommentsA letter to the game planner of SimCity BuildIt
January 26, 2026 Dear SimCity BuildIt game planner. Hello, respected game planner of SimCity BuildIt! I've been playing SimCity BuildIt for half a decade, and it's a highly enjoyable game that I love playing in my free time. I'd like to discuss and share with you the war gameplay in the game. The war gameplay has been around for many years, and I've been participating in it for quite a while. Although I had some thoughts on this gameplay before, I've never discussed them in detail with you. This time, I want to share my thoughts with you in detail. In the war gameplay, there are a total of 24 war cards, categorized into three types: common cards, rare cards, and legendary cards. Each card can be upgraded to level 20. Upgrading all 24 cards to level 20 is the dream of all players. In reality, this is challenging and requires a significant amount of cards and golden keys, both of which can be obtained from the game. Cards require a substantial amount of SimCash, so most players focus their resources on upgrading certain cards. Currently, the most popular cards in the game are Magnetic Strike, Loud Roar, B-Movie Monster, Python Entanglement, and Shield Breaker. I primarily upgrade the Magnetic Strike and B-Movie Monster cards. During the upgrade process, I found that the B-Movie Monster card is extremely costly in terms of golden keys, SimCash, and acquisition difficulty. Compared to the similar Loud Roar, it requires more than three times the resources and takes more than twice the time to obtain, yet it yields fewer points than Loud Roar. This is extremely unreasonable. Logically, as a legendary card, the B-Movie Monster should receive more points for the additional resources invested. However, the reality is quite different. In fact, upgrading the B-Movie Monster is more difficult and challenging to obtain, with the number of purchases in the store and the cost in SimCash far exceeding that of the rare Loud Roar card. This game mechanism is unreasonable! In the war game, the score obtained for each card is determined by the number of points it destroys. This mechanism is reasonable and fair. However, it is unfair that the B-class movie monster, as a legendary card, is compared to the loud roar. Both have 8 energy points, but the loud roar can destroy 11 building points, while the B-class movie monster can only destroy 10 building points, and its score is also lower. This is unreasonable. As a card that requires more resources, theoretically, it should receive more points and destroy more building points. If you have seriously and deeply played this game, you will understand what I mean very clearly. And now, with the latest update to the unit price of cards in the War Store, the aforementioned gap has widened further. 10 rare cards cost 1220 SimCash, while legendary cards cost 3120 SimCash. It's crazy! I can already clearly feel that I can't afford legendary cards. They're neither worth buying, nor do I have enough SimCash to purchase them. You should know that in the past, legendary cards could only be purchased 5 times, and the limited number of purchases made them more expensive than rare cards. Based on my analysis above, I suggest adjusting the settings of cards in the game. I propose several solutions for your reference: ① Reduce the input resources and acquisition difficulty of legendary cards, including reducing the number of golden keys required for upgrading and lowering the unit price of legendary cards in the War Store; ② Increase the building destruction points for B-class movie monsters from 10 points to 12, 13, or more points, while keeping the war score for each destruction point unchanged, so that it is worth for players to spend so many resources to cultivate this card; ③ Reduce the building destruction points for Loud Roar from 11 points to one of 8, 9, or 10 points. Among these solutions, ① reduces the game difficulty, which is not conducive to long-term game cultivation and play; ② neither reduces the current players' game experience nor solves the dilemma of legendary cards; ③ reduces the effect of Loud Roar, which is not conducive to the enjoyment and fun of other players. Therefore, I think solution ② is the most reasonable. The above are my thoughts on war gameplay over the years. I kindly request the respected simcitybuildit game planner to seriously understand the player experience and make the fairest decisions. I look forward to your follow-up communication. Thank you!
