Hey Mayors! Welcome to the SCBI "Add Me" thread (2026 edition). We've opened a fresh space to add your friend request posts and new neighbors to the game. A new thread should make it easier to find current active Mayors looking to connect with others. We'll do our best to set up a new thread each year for the same reasons. Keep "Add Me" requests to this thread: Hitting other areas of the forum with "Add Me" requests is a no-go. It can become a lot and push down other threads where Mayors need help with an issue. That's why we've created a dedicated space for finding friends and adding neighbors in-game and will merge any Add Me requests on the board into this space to help keep them together and easier to find. Let's use this space. 🙌 Be considerate: We're happy if you'd like to post your "Add Me" a few times but keep in mind flooding the thread and excessive thread bumping is not okay. It's important to be considerate of other Mayors so please keep these in mind: Allow a minimum of 30 posts + 24 hours to pass before you share another "Add Me" post from the same account. the new update didn't fix the Neon buildings effects, it's even worse, you tried to hide the glow behind other buildings but now it's like a glitch, in some angles the glow totally disappears, so neon is not neon effect anymore. Hello Mayor community and SimCity BuildIt developers, I would love to suggest adding two iconic French monuments to the game, ideally in a future Mayor's Pass themed around Paris or European heritage: The Panthéon (Paris): This neoclassical masterpiece with its grand dome would look absolutely stunning in our cities and perfectly complement the existing Parisian residential buildings. Les Invalides (Paris) : A massive, historic landmark with its golden dome that would make a perfect high-end cultural or entertainment monument. The Opéra Garnier: A breathtaking palace of art and architecture. It would be an amazing addition to the Entertainment or Culture category. The Trocadéro: Perfect as a park or culture building, offering a grand square/terrace feel that could be placed right across from our Eiffel Tower for the ultimate Parisian viewpoint. Many players love building European-style quarters, and having these two landmarks alongside the Eiffel Tower would make our Paris zones look much more authentic and beautiful. Hey everyone, I’d like to say I’m a long time tapper and love city building games. I spent over 1k in the simpsons tapped out before its demise. I believe I’m around the 1k range spent in SimCity buildit. I’m making a thread because I’d like to see mini-games in SimCity buildit. I think the condemned option was a good idea for out of service buildings but it could not be restored after that. But the main topic is that I’d like mini games. This thread is a brainstorm of minigames you’d like to see in the game. Here is a couple of my ideas… *A slot machine with a simcash jackpot. Perhaps a limit of use and simoleons to use. There’s duds or item lines to line up. *maybe add a update like the simpsons where tapping things in your city adds to the currency points. Things tappable could be trash piles, brinks money trucks, etc maybe have a animation of a cop chase that can be tapped or a building on fire that can be tapped to fix and rescue ordeal. I like to see this game improving. It’s getting better and I’m just putting out some ideas. What would you like to do or play inside this game if you could that would make it more enjoyable? Idea: Needed Items List When upgrading a residential building or completing airport/boat deliveries, clicking or dragging an item you don’t have enough of currently opens the “missing item/buy item” popup, where you can buy it with SimCash. I think there could also be an option to add the item to a Needed Items List. This list would keep track of items you need, possibly only for a certain amount of time. It could show which items you still need and whether they are currently being produced. Items would automatically disappear once you acquire the required amount, whether by manufacturing or buying them, and players could also remove items manually. The list could be accessible from the shop and factory menus, alongside the storage menu. When viewing upgrade or delivery requirements, hovering over or clicking an item could indicate whether that item is already on your list. I came up with this because it can be frustrating to remember which items you needed and where you saw them, especially after leaving that building or delivery screen. The idea wouldn’t automate anything—it would simply make keeping track of your own goals less frustrating. I understand this could potentially make the game too easy by removing some of the need to remember what you need, so I’d be interested in feedback on how the idea could be tweaked to avoid that.Issues with shaders in the game and performance problems.
I’ve been playing this game for a month now, and from the very beginning, my Vivo X300 device (CPU: MediaTek Dimensity 9500) had a graphical error — red and blue trees, as well as red water due to the sun. On other islands, the ground can be blue, even though there’s a meadow with green grass. Also, the FPS stays around 20–40. I contacted the game’s support and received three identical replies, along the lines of “clear the cache/reinstall the game.” I tried this method many times, but nothing helped. I also asked other people who have the same processor as my phone; the test was conducted on the Oppo Find X9 and the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, and they experienced the same error as I did. Please fix this, developers.Simoleons cost real money, so OMEGA Material odds should be disclosed
Since Simoleons can be bought with real money, and they're used to roll for a random chance at OMEGA Material (I, II, III), wouldn't this count as gambling? If so, the odds for I, II, and III should be disclosed - otherwise it may violate anti-gambling regulations.
