Re: Simcity buildit layout change

Playing around with design for more visual appeal is something almost  everyone wants at some point. I agree with an edit function. The ability to move roads as well as buildings. That's where the sacrifice is the largest. However, you can play around with design some before taking a huge hit. Look at other cities which have high population and an appealing look to get some general ideas on layout. Take screenshots before you make a lot of changes so you can put things back if it is just not working out. Some of the most attractive cities I have seen, sacrifice space and population for visual appeal. I know where you are coming from though. My city looks like hodge lodge because I play for population growth over visuals. I am dozing and rebuilding some to get nicer looking buildings but variety is good to me. I would like to get some nicer looking London and Paris buildings and I wish some of the Tokyo buildings retained the simple Japanese appeal but the same population, instead of skyscrapers. Sooo, I will play until I get bored..approaching soon because it's nothing but grinding now. I haven't dumped a bunch of money at all into this game and one day app developers will figure it out for themselves. The game has a lot of potential, as do many wonderful app games, nice graphics, general concept but generally most game loose appeal over time because they lack introducing new game play tactics and it's just wash, rinse, repeat. Play PC games, Xbox one, PlayStation...etc if you really want to game. This is only an app and technology has not advanced enough to compare but it probably will at some point and when it does, the business tactics they use will hopefully change as well or they will remain nothing more than an app. It's not a real game..just a simple app. Don't loose site of that. Games, you buy, apps try to psychologically trip you into spending more than a large PC game but it's all about money at the end of the day, no matter where you go..I spend the average of what I would on movie rentals a month and that's not a lot. Once I quit, the money spent will not feel like a waste because I enjoyed it while I played and didn't spend my kids college money to do it, lol. They aren't about long term retaining, they want the frustrated quick fix player who will dump serious cash until the spend so much the get upset because it just costs more and more as you go, it gets boring and they will get disgusted and leave for good..and they get their money plus the dump the extra weight of service..next in line please. Peace out
