@1457699360 I agree that Shield Buster is helping hackers to make them score so easily, they drop JackpotⅢ and keep hitting mags and shield buster over and over for 30 mins. On the other side, it's a great attack when it's used by honest players. Blocking the opponant to collect items is a great strategy. So how about limiting how many times you can use Shield Buster? (e.g. you can SB 1 target only once/ each player can hit SB once etc) Even if they provide us 7 items when we get busted, we can't beat hackers. I like the attack when it's used by legit players with good strategy. It's the same strategy as overkill. You don't get extra items when you get overkilled.

I don't even play war. But I do read this Forum so am familiar with the issues bounceing around on here. It seems that the SB that was formed to stop cities from turtleing is causing as many if not more problems than what it was  meant to prevent. Pretty sure that came from the forums. So, SOMEONE takes notice of what we talk about on here and channels it upstairs.

What y'all should do is brainstorm on this and find a solution that really works. But, 1st you need to define what the root problem is and concentrate on that. 

It started with turtleing. So, EA invents SB to break the shield which is there to help cities repair before getting attacked again. Correct? So the shield is a necessary component of the game that ppl took advantage of in a way it was not intended. Why? Because there are no time limits on the shield.

Am I correct so far?  Fill in what's missing up  to this point. Without all the angst, teeth gnashing, and emotional turmoil. Just the facts, according to the rules of the game. The original shield has to have some rules. What are they?

@cricket4103 You're correct. SB was added to deal with clubs who turtle for 36 hours. When you shield all the cities at the beggining of war and if the opponant stay under shield, there's nothing you can do for the rest of war. SB solved this problem.

In addition, if you hit SB before the target repair, they lose 7 war items. SB automatically add 7 healths and you lose the chance to repair and you can't get those war items. So if you keep hitting the same target over and over, the opponant will lose alot of chance to repair and they will be low on war supplies. 

Before SB is released, you could overkill the target only once while jackpot booster is active, but now you can shield and SB over and over while jackpot is on. It seems this is the main purpose to use SB these days, great strategy for legit players. And made the hackers life even much easier.

The new knock down system can solve the turtling problem. It's a good idea to reconsider how SB can be used.   

@Duckups  Yes. Thats how we do. We are discussing how SB can be changed to fit the original purpose which is to deal with clubs turtle. SB is now mainly used to get score easily especially for cheaters/hackers.

@1457699360 suggested to make the shield buster provide the victim all the 7 items from buildings that are automatically repaired. 

I suggested to limit the number of the use of SB per war, like each player can SB only once in a war. etc

So the 6 most talked threads on the forum are about cheating, I've already gotten bored and intoxicated again,  I think I'll prefer to rest from the forum again for a few months, Jesus, this problem has been going on for too long. 

 I remember when in this forum all people talked about items, regions, suggestions, the contest, wars, updates, etc.

@BlazinsZ  Before you take a hiatus please take a look at the thread “Let’s try something different” and share your insight. You’re absolutely correct way to much focus is on complaining about cheating (with merit I might add) and the way it’s not being addressed and not enough on offering solutions. Collectively we have made it crystal clear what’s happening today is not acceptable so I offered a simple alternative method to address the issue and certainly would appreciate your feedback and wisdom.
